About Popping Candies
Popping Candies is a match-3 puzzle played against a move limit. You swap two neighboring candies to line up three or more of a kind in a row or column, and the matched candies disappear for points. Every level comes with its own goal, for example hitting a score target, gathering certain candies or getting rid of jelly, and the task has to be done before the moves run out.
Bigger matches create special candies. Four in a row makes a striped candy that clears a whole row or column, five in a T or L shape makes a wrapped candy that blows up its surroundings, and five of one color makes a color bomb that wipes every candy of the color it is swapped with. Chocolate, jelly and blockers get in the way, boosters offer extra moves or obstacle clearing, and running out of moves costs one of five starting lives.

How to play Popping Candies
Objective
Complete each level's task, such as a target score, collecting set candies or clearing jelly, within the limited moves, then advance across the map.

Getting started
- Read the level's objective first, whether it is a target score, specific candies to collect or jelly to clear.
- Swap two adjacent candies with a click or tap so that three or more matching ones line up.
- Watch the move counter, because the objective must be finished before your limited moves are used up.
- Build striped or wrapped candies and color bombs from bigger matches to clear more of the board at once.
- Complete the objective to advance along the map and unlock the following level.
Tips
- Look for four- and five-candy matches before taking an easy three, since special candies do far more work per move.
- Swap a color bomb with the color that covers most of the board, because it clears every candy of that color.
- Target chocolate, jelly and blockers early when the objective depends on them, so they do not eat into your final moves.
- Keep an eye on lives: you start with five, each failed level costs one, and more are earned back over time.

How do you make a color bomb in Popping Candies?
Match five candies of the same color. When you then combine the color bomb with any candy, every candy of that color is cleared from the board.
What happens when you run out of moves?
You lose a life and the level is not completed. Everyone begins with five lives; extra ones come back with time or can be bought, so you can try the level again.
Can you play Popping Candies on a phone?
Yes. It runs on iOS, Android and desktop. On a phone you tap candies to select and swap them, on a computer you click instead, and it is free to play without a download.
