About Cube Sort
Cube Sort builds every level as a floating sculpture covered in patterned tiles, shaped like a cube, a sphere, a staircase, an arch or something stranger. You turn the sculpture to look at every face, then pick tiles whose pattern matches the bucket that is currently open. A matching tile flies straight into that bucket, and filling it opens the next one.
Tiles that match nothing yet are parked in a tray with limited room, and a full tray fails the level, so the order of your picks matters. Gray riveted tiles are permanent and have to be worked around, while question-mark tiles hide their pattern until a tile next to them is cleared. There are 500 levels, each checked to be solvable, and 14 patterns that differ in shape as well as color, which helps colorblind players. A typical level lasts a minute or two.

How to play Cube Sort
Objective
Complete every bucket in a level by sending matching tiles into it, without letting tiles that fit nothing yet fill up the tray.
Controls
Desktop
- Drag empty space: rotate the sculpture
- Scroll: zoom in or out
Mobile
- Drag empty space: rotate the sculpture
- Pinch: zoom in or out
- Tap a tile: send it to the open bucket, or to the tray if it does not match
Getting started
- Drag on empty space around the sculpture to rotate it and see which patterns cover each side.
- Check the pattern on the open bucket, then tap a tile with that pattern so it flies into the bucket.
- Hold back on tiles that match nothing open yet; they wait in the tray, and a completely full tray fails the level.
- Once a bucket is full it completes, a fresh one opens, and tray tiles with that pattern fly over on their own.
- Clear tiles beside question-mark tiles to reveal their patterns, and dig around gray riveted tiles, which never come off.
Tips
- Tray tiles jump into a new bucket as soon as one with their pattern opens, so parking a tile is safe only while the tray still has spare slots.
- Uncover question-mark tiles early, because their pattern stays hidden until a neighbouring tile is cleared and a surprise late in the level can overflow the tray.
- Every level is verified as solvable, so after a failure try clearing tiles in a different order rather than putting it down to luck.
- If a level stalls, a short ad opens an extra bucket or adds a tray slot, which can be enough to finish.
- Zoom in on a face before you tap, since the 14 patterns have distinct shapes and are easier to tell apart up close.

Cube Sort FAQ
What makes a Cube Sort level fail?
A level fails when the tray fills up. Any tile you pick that does not match an open bucket waits in the tray, so too many early picks of the wrong pattern leave no room and end the attempt.
What do the gray and question-mark tiles do in Cube Sort?
Gray riveted tiles are fixed blockers that can never be removed, so you have to work around them. Question-mark tiles keep their pattern hidden until you clear a tile right next to one.
Is every Cube Sort level solvable?
Yes. All 500 levels are verified to be solvable, so no luck is needed, only the right order. If you get stuck anyway, a short ad can give you an extra bucket or one more tray slot.
How do you zoom in Cube Sort?
Scroll to zoom on a computer or pinch on a phone. Dragging empty space rotates the sculpture, and together with zoom it lets you inspect every corner before choosing a tile.
