In Newbie’s Escape from Blogger Prison, the whole 3D platforming adventure is about one thing: getting out. The prison is split into many levels, and each one puts alert guards on patrol, laser traps, surveillance cameras and other dangerous obstacles between you and freedom. You run and jump through it all, exploring the prison as you look for the way forward.
The route is not always obvious. Hidden paths are tucked away along the way and unexpected challenges turn up as you go, so it pays to look around rather than charge straight ahead. The inmates you meet inside are famous bloggers, which gives the prison its name and its cast. Movement is classic platforming, with a camera you turn yourself to line up jumps and keep an eye on the guards before slipping past them.

- Jump with the spacebar or the right-hand button to cross gaps and climb onto platforms.
- Keep away from laser traps and surveillance cameras, and time your moves so patrolling guards cannot stop you.
- Explore each area for hidden paths, then push on through the level toward the next stage of the escape.
Tips
- Swing the camera around before each tricky jump, because guards, cameras and lasers are far easier to avoid once you can see where they are.
- Look off the obvious route now and then, since hidden paths are scattered through the prison and form part of the road to freedom.
- Watch how a guard patrols before you move past it; guards are alert and stand directly between you and the exit.
