Piece of Cake: Merge & Bake opens with a homecoming. Your grandfather's countryside café has been left to fall apart, and reopening it is up to you. The puzzle half happens on the cooking table, where matching ingredients combine into new ones, and longer chains of merges lead to more complex dishes and drinks. Visitors pay for what you cook, and every coin goes toward repairs and upgrades.
Restoration moves one location at a time. The café interior comes first, then its facade, and later areas open up beyond the kitchen, 21 locations in total, each with a theme of its own. Family secrets and new characters turn up along the way. The table can be expanded so more ingredients fit on it at once, and kitchen tools can be upgraded so cooking runs more efficiently. Early missions come with hints, and nothing is lost if you play with the sound off.
