About Find The Dog
Find The Dog is a relaxed hidden-object game drawn in black and white. Every scene is a detailed illustration, from parks to busy streets, and dogs have been tucked out of sight among the linework. Your task is to sweep each picture until every hidden pup has turned up, and the reward is simply the moment a shape you have looked at ten times turns out to be a dog.
There is no timer, so you can take each scene at your own speed. The mouse does most of the work: move the cursor around to explore, use the scroll wheel to zoom in on a crowded corner, hold the left button and drag to pan across a zoomed image, and left-click a dog once you spot it. When a pup refuses to show itself, a hint button sitting in the bottom-left corner shows where it is. Because the dogs share the same monochrome style as their surroundings, they blend in more than colour would allow.

How to play Find The Dog
Objective
Find every dog hidden in each black-and-white scene, using zoom, panning and the hint button when a pup is hard to spot.
Controls
Desktop
- Move the mouse: explore the image with the cursor
- Left click on a dog: mark it as found
- Scroll wheel: zoom in and out
- Hold left click and drag: pan around the image
- Hint button, bottom left: reveal a hidden dog's location
Getting started
- Open the first scene and look over the whole illustration before zooming, to get a sense of its layout.
- Scroll the wheel to zoom into one area, then hold left click and drag to move around the enlarged picture.
- Work across the scene section by section, checking the shapes in each park or street corner for a hidden dog.
- Left-click a dog as soon as you spot it so it counts as found.
- Press the hint button in the bottom-left corner if one last pup stays hidden, and it will show you where it is.
Tips
- Zoom in before you start hunting; the scenes are full of fine black-and-white detail, and small dogs are much easier to pick out when enlarged.
- With no timer running, move across the image in a fixed pattern, such as left to right, so no part of the scene gets skipped.
- Keep the hint button for the final dog or two in a scene, since there is no clock and patient searching usually turns up the rest.
- Zoom back out now and then, because a dog drawn larger than you expect can hide in plain sight while you study tiny details.

Find The Dog FAQ
Is there a time limit in Find The Dog?
No. There is no timer pushing you along, so you can search each black-and-white scene for as long as you like and rely on careful scanning instead of speed. The hint button is there if you get stuck.
How do you zoom and move around a scene?
Use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out, then hold the left mouse button and drag to pan across the image. Moving the cursor explores the picture, and a left click on a dog registers the find.
What does the hint button do?
The hint button, found in the bottom-left corner, shows the location of a hidden dog. It is meant for moments when you are stuck, so using it sparingly leaves more of the search for you to solve yourself.
