About BattleBox
BattleBox is a grid-based memory puzzle in bright pixel art. Its title screen spells BATTLE on a yellow plaque and BOX in chunky yellow blocks, with START and TUTORIAL buttons above TOTAL SCORE and BEST SCORE panels. The board is a grid of 42 covered yellow tiles, six columns numbered 1 to 6 and seven rows lettered A to G, so every square has a map-style name such as C4. A top bar shows three strawberries, an SFX ON switch and a coin counter, while little horned pixel monsters drift in the background.
Under the covers sit treasure and monsters. By the game's description, you have to recall where things are hidden, head for the riches and keep away from danger, with strawberries keeping your health topped up. A MULTIPLIER X 1 plaque under the grid shows the current score multiplier, and SHUFFLE, REWARD and QUIT buttons line the bottom edge. The board colour changes between visits, red one time and mint green another.

How to play BattleBox
Objective
Remember the hidden layout of the grid, uncover treasure while avoiding the monsters, and keep your strawberries so the run lasts long enough to beat your BEST SCORE.
Controls
Desktop
- START (title menu): open the board
- TUTORIAL (title menu): see how a round works
- SFX ON switch (top bar): turn sound effects off
- QUIT (under the grid): leave the board
Mobile
- Tap START: open the board
- Tap TUTORIAL: walk through the rules first
- QUIT (bottom right): leave the board
Getting started
- On the title screen, try TUTORIAL first; it sits under START and explains the hidden board before you risk any strawberries.
- Press START to open the board: 42 covered yellow tiles in columns 1 to 6 and rows A to G.
- Check the top bar: three strawberries on the left are your health, SFX ON sits in the middle and the coin counter starts at zero.
- Uncover tiles and remember what each square held, using the row letters and column numbers to keep track.
- Keep an eye on MULTIPLIER X 1 under the grid as you go, and use QUIT when you want to end the round.
Tips
- Name squares by their coordinates, such as B3 or F6; the lettered rows and numbered columns make a mental map of monster spots far easier to hold.
- Three strawberries is all the health shown at the start, so only gamble on a doubtful tile when you have one to spare.
- The SFX ON switch sits between the strawberries and the coins, handy if sound effects break your concentration while memorising.
- TOTAL SCORE and BEST SCORE on the title screen are separate tallies, so you can chase a better single run even after many rounds.

BattleBox FAQ
What do the strawberries in BattleBox do?
They are your health. Three appear in the top bar when a board opens, and by the game's own account strawberries keep you going while you avoid the monsters hidden under the tiles.
How big is the BattleBox board?
It has 42 covered tiles arranged in six numbered columns and seven lettered rows, A to G. That coordinate grid is what you memorise as you uncover treasure and monsters.
What does the multiplier under the grid show?
MULTIPLIER X 1 is the current score multiplier for the round. It reads one when a board opens, and the coin counter in the top bar records what you collect along the way.
