About Crosswords: Big Collection
Crosswords: Big Collection is a traditional crossword library. Each clue matches one word in the grid, and you fill in the empty cells letter by letter. Words cross one another, so every answer you get right hands you letters for the words around it. There are over 800 levels holding more than 30,000 unique clues, and a daily crossword that refreshes every 24 hours adds a new puzzle each day.
Scoring runs on a word-by-word basis. Each solved word earns points, and those points decide where you stand on the leaderboard against other players. Alongside the puzzles there is a collection system with items to unlock and quests that pay bonus rewards. A hint reveals one letter when you are stuck, and unfinished levels wait for you because progress saves automatically. The game comes in six languages, English, Russian, French, German, Italian and Spanish, and offers two color themes, soft green and dark brown. It adapts to a PC monitor or a smartphone screen.

How to play Crosswords: Big Collection
Objective
Fill every crossword grid by solving its clues, earning points per word to climb the leaderboard while unlocking collection items and completing quests.

Getting started
- Choose any level from the list, or open the daily crossword if you would rather play the puzzle of the day.
- Read a clue and select the first cell of its word with the mouse or a tap.
- Type the answer letter by letter, keeping in mind that each word crosses others in the grid.
- Use the letters from solved words to crack the clues that cross them.
- When a clue will not budge, press the hint button to reveal one letter, then carry on.
Tips
- Start with short words: they fill in letters that make the longer crossing answers much easier.
- If a clue stumps you, skip it and come back once crossing words have given you some letters.
- Hints reveal a single letter, so save them for the toughest grids instead of using them on the first hard clue.
- Every solved word earns points, so finishing partial levels you left earlier still helps your leaderboard rank.
- The daily crossword refreshes every 24 hours, so solving it each day keeps your points and rewards growing.
