About Emoji Solitaire
Emoji Solitaire keeps the layout of classic solitaire but changes what the cards mean. Instead of hearts or spades, each card shows a word and an emoji belonging to a theme such as Animals, Food, Nature, Music, Space, Sports or Weather. Category foundations sit at the top of the screen, and the aim is to sort every word card onto the foundation for its theme. On the tableau, related cards can be stacked together, which uncovers the face-down cards beneath.
Moves are limited, so each level is a small planning problem rather than a matter of shuffling cards until something fits. When nothing is playable, tapping the deck deals new cards onto the waste pile, and any open tableau space can hold a card for a while. Early levels use simple piles; later ones bring in blocker cards and locked cards while the category boards grow more involved, so the sorting gets steadily trickier.

How to play Emoji Solitaire
Objective
Sort every word card into its matching category foundation, using tableau stacks, the deck and open spaces wisely, before your limited pool of moves runs out.
Controls
Desktop
- Drag a word card: move it onto a matching foundation or tableau stack
Mobile
- Drag a word card: move it onto a matching foundation or tableau stack
- Tap the deck: deal new cards onto the waste pile
Getting started
- Check the category piles along the top of the screen to see which themes, such as Food or Space, are active in this level.
- Drag any word card that fits one of those themes straight onto its foundation.
- Stack related cards together on the tableau to turn up the face-down cards hidden underneath.
- When no move is left, tap the deck for new cards on the waste pile, and park awkward cards in open tableau spaces.
- Keep sorting until every keyword sits in its category pile, which wins the level, while watching how many moves remain.
Tips
- Moves are limited, so weigh what each play achieves; a stack that reveals a face-down card often does more than a single foundation drop.
- Open tableau spaces are temporary parking, so save them for a card that blocks a stack rather than filling them early.
- Check the visible tableau before drawing from the deck, since a card already on show may still match an active foundation.
- Later levels add blocker and locked cards, so plan around them early instead of finding them between you and the last few words.

Emoji Solitaire FAQ
What categories appear in Emoji Solitaire?
Cards carry words and emojis from themes including Animals, Food, Nature, Music, Space, Sports and Weather. The foundations shown along the top tell you which themes a level uses.
How do you win a level of Emoji Solitaire?
Group every keyword card into its matching category pile without running out of moves. Stacking related cards on the tableau, drawing from the deck and using open spaces all help you reach that point within the limit.
What can you do when you are stuck?
Tap the deck to deal new cards onto your waste pile. Open tableau spaces can also hold a card temporarily, which may free up a stack and reveal a face-down card underneath.
Does Emoji Solitaire get harder?
Yes. Early levels start with simple piles, while later ones add cards that block or are locked, and category boards that grow more involved and demand more careful planning with your limited moves.
