About Robot Bar - Find the differences

Robot Bar - Find the differences is an observation puzzle set in a science-fiction club where cheerful robots spend their time off. Each round puts two versions of a robot bar scene in front of you, and the task is to find every detail that differs between them. A timer runs while you search, and all of a picture's differences have to be located before it reaches zero.

What sets it apart is the penalty for guessing. The game counts each touch that lands on a spot with no difference, and the fifth such miss means game over. That rule makes blind poking a losing tactic and rewards slow, careful comparison of the two images. The scenes are wide landscape pictures, so a phone held sideways gives the robots and their club the most room on screen.

How to play Robot Bar - Find the differences

Objective

Find all the differences in each robot bar picture before the time runs out, without letting five touches miss a difference.

Controls

Mobile

  • Touch a spot that differs: mark that difference as found

Getting started

  1. Turn the phone sideways before starting, because the robot bar scenes are laid out in landscape.
  2. Look over both pictures and pick one area, such as a single robot, to compare closely first.
  3. When you are certain a detail has changed, touch it on the screen to mark that difference.
  4. Keep an eye on the timer, since every difference in the picture must be found before time runs out.
  5. Count your misses as you play, because five touches that hit no difference end the game.

Tips

  • Treat each touch as a spent chance. Only four misses are survivable, so confirm a change in both pictures before you mark it.
  • The timer and the miss limit pull against each other; when the clock is low, one considered guess beats a burst of touches that could end the game.
  • After a miss or two, stop and compare the two scenes again rather than trying nearby spots, because nearby guesses still count as misses when they land on nothing.

Robot Bar - Find the differences FAQ

How many wrong touches does Robot Bar allow?

Four. The fifth touch that lands on a spot without a difference means game over, so you effectively have five chances to be wrong. The game is designed to stop random touching, so check carefully before each one.

Is there a time limit in Robot Bar?

Yes. Each picture comes with a timer, and all of its differences must be found before time runs out. That clock is why the miss limit bites: rushing is tempting, but hurried guesses quickly use up your chances.

Where are the pictures set?

In a science-fiction bar, or club, where happy robots relax during their free time. Every round asks you to compare two versions of that scene and spot what has changed, so the robots and their surroundings are where the differences hide.

Should the phone be held sideways?

Yes, landscape works best. The game is designed for a wide screen and runs on phones and computers, and turning the phone gives both pictures enough space for you to touch small details accurately.
