About Jenny's Math Puzzle
Jenny's Math Puzzle is part arithmetic drill, part logic puzzle. Each board is a grid of equations with empty slots, and a pool of number tiles waits to fill them. You move tiles from the pool into the gaps, and the catch is that equations run both across and down, so a number has to make sense in every line it belongs to.
A board is won only when every slot is filled and nothing mismatches. Mistakes cost nothing permanent, because any tile can be dragged back to the pool to open its slot for another try. The difficulty climbs gradually from one puzzle to the next, and the design aims at players of all ages, which makes it a gentle way to practice sums while still having to think a few steps ahead.

How to play Jenny's Math Puzzle
Objective
Fill every empty slot on the grid with number tiles from the pool so that each equation, horizontal and vertical, is correct with no mismatches.
Controls
Desktop
- Mouse drag: move a number tile from the pool into an empty slot
- Drag back with the mouse: send a placed tile back to the pool
Mobile
- Touch drag: move a number tile from the pool into an empty slot
- Touch drag back: send a placed tile back to the pool
Getting started
- Look over the board and find the equations with empty slots, both those running across and those running down.
- Start with an equation that has only one gap, since its missing number can be worked out directly.
- Drag that number tile from the pool into the slot, then check any other equation the slot belongs to.
- If a placed tile breaks another equation, drag it back to the pool and try a different number.
- Keep filling slots until the whole grid is complete and every equation holds without a mismatch.
Tips
- If a slot belongs to both a horizontal and a vertical equation, it must satisfy both, which narrows down the right tile quickly.
- Before guessing, check which number tiles are actually in the pool; the answer for a gap has to come from among them.
- Experiment without worry, because dragging a tile back to the pool undoes the placement and fully restores the slot.
- The win needs zero mismatches, so after the last tile goes in, scan every horizontal and vertical equation for one that does not add up.

Jenny's Math Puzzle FAQ
How do you win a board in Jenny's Math Puzzle?
Fill every empty slot with a number tile from the pool so that all equations are valid, reading both horizontally and vertically. The board is won once the grid is full with no mismatches anywhere.
Can a wrong tile be removed?
Yes. Drag the tile back to the pool and its slot opens up again, ready for a different number. Mistakes are always recoverable, so trial and error is a fair way to approach a hard grid.
Does Jenny's Math Puzzle work on phones?
Yes. Tiles move with a touch drag on a phone and with a mouse drag on a computer, and the rules are identical on both. The difficulty rises gradually, so it suits a wide range of ages.
