About Snake to Eat
Snake to Eat turns the old snake formula into a calm board puzzle. Nothing moves until you do: the snake advances one step per input, so every board is a planning exercise rather than a race. Apples are scattered around, and each one you eat adds a new segment to the body. The exit is a teleportation portal, and the snake has to be long enough to reach it before the level counts as solved.
That growth rule is the twist. Length is what you need to finish, yet a longer body is harder to steer and can wall off the very path you meant to take. A careless route can leave the head boxed in with nowhere left to go, so solving a board means working out the order of the apples first and the final approach to the portal second.

How to play Snake to Eat
Objective
Eat the apples on each board so the snake grows long enough, then guide it into the teleportation portal without trapping the head against its own body.
Controls
Mobile
- Tap or swipe: move the snake one step in the chosen direction, depending on your device and control scheme
Getting started
- Before the first move, look over the board and note where every apple sits and where the teleportation portal is.
- Tap or swipe toward the nearest apple; the snake advances one step per input, so take the route a step at a time.
- Watch the body grow by one segment with each apple, and check that the new length still leaves room to turn.
- Collect the remaining apples in an order that keeps open space ahead of the head instead of folding the body around it.
- When the snake is long enough, steer it into the portal to complete the level and reach the next board.
Tips
- Work backward from the portal: decide how the snake will approach it once it is long enough, and keep that lane clear while you collect apples.
- The snake is at its longest right after the final apple, so leave the most open ground for that last stretch toward the portal.
- Since nothing moves until you give an input, trace the route in your head before committing; one bad turn can strand the snake for good.
- Avoid curling the body around a cluster of apples, because the added segments can seal off the way back to the portal.

Snake to Eat FAQ
Does the snake in Snake to Eat keep moving on its own?
No. It advances one step each time you tap or swipe in a direction, so the board only changes when you act. That turns each level into route planning rather than a reflex contest, and a single careless step can leave the snake stuck.
Why are apples needed to finish a level in Snake to Eat?
The portal can only be reached once the snake has grown long enough, and eating apples is how it grows. Each one adds a single segment, so you have to collect them, but every extra piece also makes the body harder to steer around the board.
What happens if the snake traps itself?
A poorly planned route can box the snake in with its own body, leaving it no way out on that board. The risk rises with every apple because a longer snake is harder to steer, so think a few moves ahead before each turn.
