About Not Before Bed 01
Not Before Bed 01 opens the Not Before Bed series, a set of small, different games that share one idea: one more round. This first one is a matching puzzle built around little monsters and colored blocks. On each board you pick one of the monsters that is currently available, and it then sets off on its own to collect the blocks that match its color.
A monster is full once it holds three blocks. At that point it leaves, and the collection slot it was taking up opens again for the next monster you choose. The board is finished when every last block is gone, so the real decision is which available monster to send next and when. The opening line, the familiar promise of stopping after one level, sets the tone for a game designed to keep you saying one more round long after you meant to stop.

How to play Not Before Bed 01

Clear every block from the board by sending out monsters that each collect three blocks of their own color and then leave, freeing their slot.

Getting started
- Look over the board to see which block colors are present and roughly how many of each are waiting.
- Check which little monsters are available right now, since only those can be chosen.
- Click or tap an available monster, and it automatically starts collecting the blocks that share its color.
- Once it has gathered three blocks it leaves, and its collection slot opens up for another monster.
- Keep choosing monsters until no blocks remain on the board, which finishes the level.
Tips
- Each monster needs three matching blocks before it leaves, so favor colors that still have at least three blocks waiting.
- A slot opens again only when its monster has left, so treat every pick as borrowing a slot until three blocks of that color arrive.
- The monsters collect on their own, so the whole puzzle is in the order of your picks; take a moment before each one.
