About Brain Buster: Multiplayer Math Puzzle Game

Brain Buster: Multiplayer Math Puzzle Game stages arithmetic as a boxing match between two rival brains. Each round puts one problem on the board, covering addition, subtraction, multiplication or division, with four possible answers underneath. The first player to pick the right one scores the point and lands a punch; a wrong pick gives the opponent a clear chance at it, and if nobody answers within 10 seconds the question is a draw. After 14 questions, whoever won the most takes the match.

Two modes are on offer. Quick Play pits you against an AI that adapts to your level, starting slow and sloppy and growing faster and sharper as you climb, while the second mode matches you with a live human opponent in real time. Matches cost a coin entry fee and pay out on performance. Wins earn 30 trophies, a draw earns 10, a loss takes 15 away, each 120 trophies lifts you a level, and there are fifteen levels in all.

How to play Brain Buster: Multiplayer Math Puzzle Game

Objective

Win more of the 14 questions than your opponent by tapping or clicking the correct answer first, and climb the trophy ladder through the fifteen levels.

Controls

Desktop

  • Mouse click: select an answer

Mobile

  • Single tap: select an answer

Getting started

  1. Choose Quick Play to face the adaptive AI, or the live mode to duel another player in real time.
  2. Pay the coin entry fee and enter the arena as one of the two rival brains.
  3. Read the arithmetic problem on the board and the four possible answers beneath it.
  4. Click or tap the correct answer before your opponent does to win the point and land a punch.
  5. Keep going through all 14 questions; whoever wins the most of them takes the match and the trophies.

Tips

  • A wrong answer gives your rival a clear chance at the point, so when unsure, a correct answer a moment later beats a fast guess.
  • If neither player answers within 10 seconds the question is a draw and nobody scores, which can be better than a wrong pick that hands the point away.
  • Streak bonuses grow at three, five, seven and ten wins in a row, and a drawn match does not break the streak; only a loss does.
  • Return on consecutive days: the seven-day login cycle pays 50 coins on day one and 500 on day seven, handy for match entry fees.
  • Quick Play's AI scales with your level, so expect it to get faster and more accurate as your trophies climb.

Brain Buster: Multiplayer Math Puzzle Game FAQ

How does a match in Brain Buster work?

Each match has 14 questions. One arithmetic problem appears with four answers, and the first correct answer wins the point. A wrong answer gives the opponent a free shot, and a question left unanswered for 10 seconds counts as a draw.

Can you play Brain Buster against real people online?

Yes. VS Online is a real-time one-on-one mode against another live player, using the same questions and the same clock. Quick Play is the alternative, pitting you against an AI that adjusts to your level.

How do trophies and levels work?

A win pays 30 trophies, a draw 10, and a loss costs 15. Every 120 trophies moves you up one level, there are fifteen levels, and your level sets the bot's speed, accuracy and the size of the numbers.

Does your progress carry between devices?

Yes. Cloud save keeps your coins, level, trophies and streak with you on any device, and there is a global trophy leaderboard plus achievements for milestones like your first win and win streaks.
