About Merge Fruit Characters
Merge Fruit Characters is a drop-and-merge puzzle with a cast. You throw fruits into a glass, and when two identical fruits meet they combine into the next fruit up the chain. Every fruit is also a character with a name, a personality and catchphrases, so climbing the chain unlocks new heroes. Two Baby Blue Blueberries, for example, merge to form Princess Stella "Little Beak" Strawberry-Belle, and a pair of those becomes Champion Cherry "Bouncy Bunny" Cherryton. There are 26 characters in all.
Physics decides where fruits settle, and the glass has a hard limit: if even one fruit falls out, the game ends. Seven bonuses help manage the pile. Multicolor merges with any fruit, Meteor drills down to the bottom, Bomb blows up small fruits for ten times the points, Grow raises every identical fruit one step, Magnet pulls out a fruit that is in the way, Microscope shrinks everything for a while and Tornado shakes the glass. A wheel of fortune, daily quests, store upgrades and points rankings fill out the rest.

Objective
Merge matching fruits up the chain to unlock all 26 characters and score points, without letting a single fruit fall out of the glass.

- Click: make a quick throw of the next fruit into the glass
- Hold and move: show a laser sight to aim the throw more accurately
Getting started
- Look at the empty glass before the first throw, since every fruit you add has to stay inside it for the round to continue.
- Click to make a quick throw of your first fruit, or hold and move to aim with the laser sight.
- Drop a second matching fruit onto the first so the two merge into a bigger fruit and reveal a new character.
- Keep chaining merges upward, for example blueberries into Princess Stella and then into Champion Cherry.
- When the pile gets tight, use a bonus such as Microscope, Magnet or Tornado to clear room before it spills.
Tips
- Use the laser sight instead of quick throws when a fruit must land on its twin, because a missed merge takes up valuable space.
- Bomb gives ten times the points while clearing small fruits, so save it for a glass crowded with low-level pieces.
- Grow raises every identical fruit by one step at once, which works best when several of the same fruit are scattered around.
- Check the daily quests and spin the wheel of fortune regularly, since both hand out bonuses for later rounds.
- Spend store upgrades on abilities you use often, because they carry over between rounds and levels.

When does a round end?

Multicolor merges with any fruit, so it acts as a wild match for whatever piece is stuck where its twin cannot reach. Other bonuses include Meteor, Bomb, Grow, Magnet, Microscope and Tornado.
What is the difference between clicking and holding?
A click throws the fruit straight away. Holding and moving shows a laser sight first, so you can line up the drop and hit the exact spot you want before releasing.
