About Magic Story of Solitaire
Magic Story of Solitaire sets a familiar card game inside a storybook world. One level might put your cards on a tavern table in the glow of a fireplace, another under an oak tree with a waterfall close by, and the scenery keeps changing across hundreds of layouts set in beautiful and mysterious places.
The rule at the heart of every layout is short. You have a drawn card and a supply pile, and you can remove any card on the playing field that sits exactly one step above or below the drawn card in value. To complete a level you must clear every card from the field before your supply runs out; run dry first and the level is not finished. Different challenges along the adventure keep experienced players busy, while the simple rule helps newcomers settle in quickly. When a layout gets truly stuck, a fairy helper points out which magical power to use to get out of the tough spot.

How to play Magic Story of Solitaire
Objective
Clear every card from the playing field in each layout by picking cards one higher or one lower than your drawn card, before your supply runs out.
Getting started
- Look at your drawn card and scan the playing field for any card one value above or below it.
- Select a matching card to remove it from the field, then keep looking for further matches.
- When nothing on the field fits, take a new card from your supply and check the layout again.
- Keep an eye on how many supply cards remain, since running out before the field is clear leaves the level unfinished.
- If a layout becomes too tough, follow the fairy helper's advice on which magical power to use.
Tips
- Supply cards are the limited resource, so remove every possible match from the field before drawing a new card.
- Both directions count, so check for a card one higher and a card one lower before deciding the field has no moves.
- Watch the size of your supply as closely as the field, because the level is not complete if the supply empties with cards still in play.
- Lean on the fairy helper in the hardest layouts, since pointing out the right magical power for a tight spot is exactly its job.
