About Solitaire The Collection
Solitaire The Collection is a library of 33 card games in one place. The familiar names are all here: Klondike, where you draw one card or three, FreeCell, Vegas, Pyramid and Spider, which can be dealt with one, two or four suits. Less common rules sit alongside them, among them Scorpion, Golf, Alaska, Yukon, Josephine, Tri Peaks, Russian Solitaire, Eight Off, Forty Thieves, Simple Simon, Easthaven, Double Klondike and Spiderette, plus a Memory game on a normal or large board. You pick a game and a difficulty, which can be anything from a relaxed deal to a real puzzle.
Each mode follows its own rules. Klondike builds foundations by suit from the ace upward, Spider asks for complete same-suit runs, Pyramid clears pairs that meet a sum rule, and Memory is about flipping cards to find pairs. When a deal stalls, hints, undo and auto-collect are on hand, some modes let you choose random or solvable deals, and progress saves on its own. Daily challenges, quest campaigns, and keys, postcards and achievements add goals beyond single deals.

How to play Solitaire The Collection
Objective
Win deals across the 33 variants by following each mode's rules, and work through daily challenges and quest campaigns to collect keys, postcards and achievements.
Controls
Desktop
- Drag with the mouse: move cards between piles
- Mouse: resize and handle cards on any layout
Mobile
- Drag with a finger: move cards between piles
- Single tap: move a card in one step
Getting started
- Pick a solitaire from the collection, such as Klondike or Spider, and choose a difficulty level.
- In modes that support it, decide between a random deal and a solvable one before starting.
- Move cards by dragging them, or move a card with a single tap if that is quicker.
- Follow the mode's rules: in Klondike, build foundations by suit from the ace up and build the tableau down.
- If you get stuck, use a hint or undo, and remember that auto-collect is there to help mid-game as well.
Tips
- Choose solvable deals while learning a new variant, so a loss means a mistake to fix rather than an impossible layout.
- Spider with one suit is far gentler than two or four suits, so start there before raising the suit count.
- Undo is available mid-game, so try a risky move in Klondike or FreeCell and roll it back if it blocks a column.
- Memory comes on a normal or a large board, so start on the normal one; the large board means more cards to remember.
- Daily challenges and quest campaigns pay out keys and postcards, so they are worth a deal even when you favor one variant.
