About Graffiti Time

Graffiti Time follows Mr. Fat Cap, a graffiti writer travelling across the universe with spray paint in hand. Each level is a stretch of street to sneak through, painting pieces and tags as you go while robots try to catch you. Movement leans on platforming, with a double jump that lets Mr. Fat Cap fly over parts of the level, and staying clear of the robots matters as much as the painting. The bigger aim is to make the streets look beautiful again.

Beyond the main levels there is a lot packed in. A mini cruiser board lets you ride and land kickflips for extra money, and a dedicated skateboarding race mode builds on that. A freehand tagging mode puts the focus on painting, and extra mini games add separate challenges. The game was made by a real-life graffiti artist, and the subject matter reflects it. It plays in landscape on computers and phones.

How to play Graffiti Time

Objective

Guide Mr. Fat Cap through each street, painting pieces and tags without getting caught by the robots, and earn extra money with kickflips on the cruiser board.

Getting started

  1. Rotate a phone into landscape first, since the streets are drawn wide, then start on the main levels.
  2. Sneak forward and paint pieces and tags along the way, which is how the streets start to look beautiful again.
  3. Check where the robots are before moving on, since they are out to catch Mr. Fat Cap while he paints.
  4. Use the double jump to fly over sections of the level that a normal jump cannot clear.
  5. Try the other modes once you know the basics: the skateboarding race, freehand tagging and the extra mini games.

Tips

  • Kickflips on the mini cruiser board pay extra money, so fit them in whenever you are riding rather than just rolling along.
  • Choose moments when no robot is close to stop and paint, since their whole job is catching Mr. Fat Cap in the act.
  • Lean on the double jump to fly over parts of the level, which can carry you past spots where robots are waiting.
  • If painting is what you enjoy most, the freehand tagging mode puts the artwork front and center.

There is a skateboarding race mode, a freehand tagging mode and a set of extra mini games. The race mode is built around skating, while freehand tagging keeps the attention on the painting itself.
