About Quick Maths

Quick Maths is a runner with no steering. Your character keeps moving forward, and the only thing you control is the answer to a math problem. Each problem comes with three possible answers and a countdown. Pick the right one in time and the runner deals with whatever is ahead on its own, jumping, sliding, dodging or smashing straight through the obstacle.

Mistakes and hesitation both hurt. A wrong pick or a slow one breaks your streak, and the streak is where the game's best moments come from: keep it going long enough and you enter FLOW. The longer you last, the faster the run gets and the harder the problems feel, so a good score depends on staying accurate under pressure rather than on any reflex move. Everything is about the next answer, and the goal each time is a new high score.

How to play Quick Maths

Objective

Answer each math problem correctly before the timer runs out so the runner clears every obstacle, building streaks and FLOW for a new high score.

Controls

Desktop

  • Click an answer: choose one of the three options
  • 1, 2 or 3 keys: pick the first, second or third answer

Mobile

  • Tap an answer: choose one of the three options

Getting started

  1. Start a run and watch the first problem appear with three answers and a countdown timer.
  2. Work out the answer and tap or click it, or press 1, 2 or 3 on a keyboard for the matching option.
  3. Watch the runner react by itself, jumping, sliding, dodging or smashing through the obstacle ahead.
  4. Keep answering correctly to build a streak, and push it far enough to enter FLOW.
  5. When the run ends, check your score and go again to beat your high score.

Tips

  • On a keyboard, keep your hand on 1, 2 and 3 so you never lose time reaching for an answer.
  • Hesitating breaks the streak just like a wrong answer, so commit as soon as you are confident instead of double-checking every sum.
  • With only three choices, rule out the answers that are clearly too big or too small first.
  • The game speeds up the longer you survive, so stay calm early and save your focus for the faster stretch.

Quick Maths FAQ

How do you make the runner jump in Quick Maths?

You do not jump directly. Choosing the correct answer makes the runner handle the obstacle automatically, whether that means a jump, a slide, a dodge or smashing straight through it.

What is FLOW?

FLOW is the state you reach by keeping a streak of correct answers going. A wrong answer or hesitating too long breaks the streak, so FLOW rewards steady accuracy.

Can you use the keyboard instead of clicking?

Yes. On desktop the 1, 2 and 3 keys pick the matching answer, which is often quicker than moving the pointer. On a phone, tap the answer you want.
