About Maths Puzzle

Maths Puzzle hands you equations with pieces missing. Sometimes the gap is a number, sometimes an operator, and later on it can be both, but the job is always the same: supply whatever makes the left side equal the right. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are all you need, which keeps the opening puzzles approachable.

Difficulty climbs as you go. Later stages bring more complex equations and several missing elements in a single line, so you have to reason about how the blanks affect each other instead of solving one gap in isolation. Finishing a series of puzzles moves you up a level. Some versions add a timer, where fast answers can bring extra points or rewards, and some offer hints for when you are stuck, though spending them carelessly can cost you moves. The blend of arithmetic and logic gives the game an educational, brain-training feel.

How to play Maths Puzzle

Objective

Complete each equation by filling in its missing numbers or operators so both sides are equal, and solve a series of puzzles to move up a level.

Controls

Desktop

  • Click: start a puzzle and select parts of the equation

Getting started

  1. Click on the puzzle to begin, and an equation appears with one or more of its parts missing.
  2. Work out whether each blank needs a number, an operator, or both, by checking what the other side equals.
  3. Click the equation elements to fill the gaps, using addition, subtraction, multiplication or division to balance it.
  4. Finish the whole series of puzzles to advance, and expect more blanks and harder equations after each step up.

Tips

  • When a line has two blanks, settle the operator first; once you know whether it adds or multiplies, the missing number is much easier to find.
  • Keep hints in reserve for genuinely stuck moments, because careless use can waste moves you may need later.
  • If your version runs a timer, quick correct answers can earn more points, so clear the easy blanks fast and spend your time on the hard ones.
  • Before confirming, recompute both sides with your chosen values; a single wrong operator throws the whole equation off balance.

Maths Puzzle FAQ

What kind of math does Maths Puzzle use?

Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Each equation is missing a number, an operator or both, and you fill the gaps so the two sides come out equal. The challenge grows from how many gaps there are, not from advanced math.

Is Maths Puzzle timed?

That depends on the version. Some versions time the puzzles, and solving quickly can earn extra points or rewards. Hints work the same way: some versions offer them, and they are best saved for when you are truly stuck.

How do you move up a level in Maths Puzzle?

Solve a series of puzzles successfully and the game advances you to a new level. Each step up brings tougher equations, including ones with several missing elements at once, so accuracy matters more the further you get.
