About Voxel Atelier
Voxel Atelier hides a small object inside each 3D block of voxels, and you uncover it by removing every cube that does not belong. Numbers printed on the faces of the block are the only guide: each tells you how many voxels should remain in that row. Reading those clues against each other lets you work out which cubes are safe to take away and which ones form part of the hidden shape.
Mistakes matter, because taking out a cube that is part of the object is counted as one. That is why the toolkit goes beyond plain removal: you can mark a voxel you are sure about, clear a mark, step through the block layer by layer, undo and redo, ask for a hint or bring the full block back into view. Hundreds of relaxing puzzles are grouped into collections, and each solved one adds a miniature creation to your own gallery of voxel art.

How to play Voxel Atelier
Objective
Remove every unnecessary voxel from the block, guided by the number clues, while keeping all the cubes that make up the hidden object.
Controls
Desktop
- Drag the mouse: rotate the puzzle
- 1: mark a voxel
- 2: remove a voxel
- 3: clear a mark
- Q / E: switch the visible layer
- Z / X: undo and redo
- C: take a hint
- Space: bring back the full block
- On-screen buttons: mark, remove or clear, change layers, get hints, undo and redo
Mobile
- Drag with one finger: rotate the puzzle
- Tap a voxel: interact with it
- Pinch with two fingers: zoom
- On-screen controls: tools, layers, hints, undo and redo
Getting started
- Rotate the block, by dragging the mouse or one finger, to read the numbers printed on each of its faces.
- Start with rows whose number makes the answer plain, and work out which voxels in them cannot belong to the object.
- Mark voxels you are confident about with 1 or the mark tool, so you do not remove them by accident.
- Remove the voxels that do not belong with 2 or the remove tool, and use Q and E to step through inner layers.
- Keep going until only the hidden object remains; Space brings the whole block back if you lose track.
Tips
- Pulling out a cube that is part of the object is counted as a mistake, so mark first and remove only when a row's number leaves no doubt.
- Change the visible layer with Q and E to reach rows buried inside the block, which are hard to judge from the outside.
- Z and X undo and redo your last actions, useful when a mark or removal turns out to clash with another row's number.
- When a block has you stuck, press C for a hint rather than guessing, since a wrong removal costs you a mistake.

Voxel Atelier FAQ
What do the numbers mean in Voxel Atelier?
Each number on a face of the block tells you how many voxels should remain in that row once the puzzle is solved. Compare the clues across rows to decide which cubes are extra and which belong to the hidden object.
What happens if you remove the wrong cube?
Taking away a cube that is part of the hidden object counts as a mistake. Marking voxels you are sure about, with 1 on desktop or the mark tool on mobile, helps you avoid that.
How do the controls work on a phone?
Drag with one finger to rotate the block, tap a voxel to interact with it and pinch with two fingers to zoom. Buttons on the screen give you the tools, layers, hints and undo or redo.
