About Wordeck: Associations
Wordeck: Associations looks like solitaire but plays like a vocabulary riddle. Instead of suits and numbers, you get a spread of word cards that conceals several categories, most of them three or four words long. The links can come from a shared theme, a type of object, a property or a broader concept, and your job is to find them.
You select the cards you believe belong together. A correct group is removed from the board; a wrong guess sends the cards back where they were so you can try another combination. Some levels cap how many mistakes you can make, which rewards thinking before you commit. Each level has a fixed layout, and as you progress the boards hold more cards and the connections get harder to see. There is no clock at any point, so every board can be solved at whatever pace suits you.

How to play Wordeck: Associations
Objective
Clear the whole board by sorting every word card into its hidden category of related words, without running out of mistakes on levels that limit them.
Getting started
- Read every word card on the board before selecting anything, looking for words that could share a theme.
- Pick out three or four cards you think form a category, such as things that share a property or belong to one concept.
- When your selection forms a correct group, those cards leave the board; a wrong set returns to its original spots.
- Check whether the level limits mistakes, and slow down if it does, since each wrong combination counts against you.
- Keep grouping until the layout is empty, then move on to a larger board with less obvious links.
Tips
- Watch for words that could fit two categories; solve the clearer groups first, which leaves fewer candidates for the tricky one.
- Categories usually hold three or four words, so if you have found five that seem related, one of them belongs somewhere else.
- Think beyond the obvious theme: links can also be a property, a type of object or an abstract concept, especially on later boards.
- Nothing is timed, so on levels with a mistake limit, take as long as you need before selecting a set.

Wordeck: Associations FAQ
How many words are in each category in Wordeck: Associations?
Usually three or four. Each level hides several categories of related words, and grouping one correctly removes its cards from the board, so the layout shrinks as you go.
What happens after a wrong guess?
The cards go back to their original positions so another combination can be tried. On boards with a mistake cap, every wrong guess uses up part of your allowance, so think before selecting.
Is there a time limit?
No. There is no time pressure anywhere in the game, so you can study each board calmly. Difficulty comes from larger word sets and subtler associations instead of a clock.
Do you need to download anything to play?
No download or installation is required. It loads straight in the browser, letting you open it and begin sorting word cards right away.
