About Solitaire Emperor - Secrets of Fate

Solitaire Emperor - Secrets of Fate wraps a card-clearing solitaire in a Tarot adventure. Each level lays out its own combination of cards and brings its own mix of mechanics, so no two layouts play quite alike. The aim of a level never changes, though: remove every card from the playing field.

Cards come off the field following the classic rank sequence of ace, king, queen, jack, ten and on downward, with A, K, Q and J marking the top ranks and the queen also called the lady. Coins reward tidy play in two ways. Building a continuous chain of removals earns coins, and a gold card keeps that chain going without a break. When a level ends, every card still waiting in the deck adds to your coin payout. If the field offers no valid move, a fresh card from the deck or a gold card gets you going again.

How to play Solitaire Emperor - Secrets of Fate

Objective

Clear all the cards from the playing field in each level, keeping chains unbroken and leaving as many cards in the deck as possible for a bigger coin reward.

Controls

Desktop

  • Mouse click: select and remove a card from the playing field

Mobile

  • Tap: select and remove a card from the playing field

Getting started

  1. Look over the new layout first, since each level arranges its cards differently and may bring its own mechanic.
  2. Click or tap a card that fits the rank sequence to remove it from the field and begin a chain.
  3. Keep removing cards in sequence for as long as possible, because an unbroken chain is what earns coins.
  4. When no move is left, pull another card from the deck, or spend a gold card to keep the chain alive.
  5. Clear every card from the field to finish the level and collect coins for each card still in the deck.

Tips

  • Draw from the deck only when the field is truly stuck; each card still in the deck at the end adds to your coin payout.
  • Hold a gold card for the moment a long chain is about to break, since it keeps the chain going without interruption.
  • Before starting a chain, trace how far the ranks on the field can run in sequence, then open with the card that leads to the longest streak.
  • Each Tarot layout mixes in different mechanics, so study the board fresh at the start of every level instead of repeating the last plan.

Solitaire Emperor - Secrets of Fate FAQ

How do coins work in Solitaire Emperor - Secrets of Fate?

Coins come from two places. Continuous chains of card removals earn them during play, and at the end of a level you get more coins the more cards remain in the deck. A gold card stops a chain from breaking.

What can you do when there are no moves left?

Either pull a new card from the deck or spend a gold card. Drawing uses up a card from the deck, which lowers the end-of-level coin reward, so it is worth weighing that against spending a gold card when you have one.

What do the letters A, K, Q and J mean?

They are the card ranks: A is the ace, K the king, Q the queen, which the game also calls the lady, and J the jack. Cards are removed in the classic order of ace, king, queen, jack, ten and on downward.
