About Formula Apex Rush

Formula Apex Rush is an arcade take on open-wheel racing. Each event drops you on a circuit with a field of aggressive computer rivals, and the job is to lap as quickly as you can, pass the cars in front and cross the line as high up the order as possible. Positions shift constantly during a race, so the fight for places goes on right to the flag.

Events come in four kinds, Grand Prix circuits with technical layouts, short sprints, races on city streets and races after dark, and all of them sit inside a championship that grows more competitive as it goes. Staying on the asphalt matters, since grass and off-road areas slow the car badly, and an ERS boost gives a short burst of speed for straights and overtakes. Credits earned in races are spent in the Garage on performance upgrades and stronger setups for the tougher events.

How to play Formula Apex Rush

Objective

Finish every race in the best position you can by lapping fast and overtaking the AI drivers, then use your credits in the Garage to stay competitive as the championship gets harder.

Controls

Desktop

  • W or Up Arrow: accelerate
  • S or Down Arrow: brake
  • A/D or Left/Right Arrow keys: steer
  • ERS/Nitro key: short speed boost

Mobile

  • On-screen steering: steer the car
  • On-screen accelerator: accelerate
  • On-screen brake: brake
  • On-screen boost: fire the ERS boost

Getting started

  1. Start the championship and take on the first event, whether it is a Grand Prix circuit, a sprint, a street race or a night race.
  2. Accelerate with W or the Up Arrow and turn using A and D, or Left and Right; on mobile use the on-screen controls.
  3. Brake with S or the Down Arrow before tight corners so the car stays on the asphalt.
  4. Save the ERS boost for straights or for the moment you pull alongside a rival to overtake.
  5. After the race, take your credits to the Garage and improve the car before the next, tougher event.

Tips

  • Grass and off-road areas slow the car a lot, so a slightly slower corner that stays on the track is better than a wide one through the grass.
  • ERS works best on straight sections or during an overtake, so avoid firing it into a corner where you will have to brake anyway.
  • Credits come only from racing and pay for Garage upgrades, so keep improving the car as the championship opposition gets tougher.
  • Race positions keep changing, so a poor start is not the end: use ERS on the straights to make up places.

Formula Apex Rush FAQ

Can you play Formula Apex Rush on mobile?

Yes. The game is built for desktop and mobile, and on a phone every action, from steering to the boost, has its own on-screen control. On desktop, W or Up accelerates, S or Down brakes, and A and D or the Left and Right Arrow keys steer.

What is ERS in Formula Apex Rush?

ERS, also called Nitro, is a temporary speed boost. It is most useful on straight sections or while overtaking a rival. On mobile it has its own on-screen boost button, and on desktop it has its own key.

What kinds of races are in the championship?

The championship mixes Grand Prix circuits with technical layouts, short sprint races, events on city streets and races after dark. The AI field gets more competitive as it goes, so upgrading your setup in the Garage keeps you in contention.

What happens if you leave the track?

Running onto the grass or other off-road areas slows the car significantly, costing time and places. Keep to the asphalt by braking before tight corners and steering smoothly through them.
