About Driver Club: Highway Racing

Driver Club: Highway Racing puts you on a busy three-lane highway at high speed. You accelerate, brake and switch lanes to slip past the traffic, earning near-miss bonuses for close passes and a higher score for threading tight gaps. One clipped bumper ends the run on the spot, so every overtake is a small gamble.

Two modes set the goals. Career mode hands you timed highway sections with steadily tighter traffic, while Race mode adds a faster AI rival chasing you down. Every completed section pays cash based on distance and risk, which goes into engine upgrades, new rims and custom colors, and banking more of it unlocks new car tiers, from mid-range sedans up to hypercars. Routes pass through desert canyons, foggy city streets and open multi-lane highways, and a leaderboard tracks the best scores.

How to play Driver Club: Highway Racing

Objective

Weave through highway traffic without clipping another car, clearing timed sections and beating rivals to earn cash for upgrades and faster cars.

Controls

Desktop

  • W or Up arrow: accelerate
  • S or Down arrow: brake
  • A or Left arrow: move left
  • D or Right arrow: move right
  • C: change camera view
  • P: pause

Getting started

  1. Choose Career mode for timed sections or Race mode to go head to head with a faster AI opponent.
  2. Hold W or the up arrow to accelerate, and switch lanes with A and D or the left and right arrows.
  3. Pass close to other cars for near-miss bonuses, but never clip a bumper, since that ends the run.
  4. Brake with S or the down arrow when traffic bunches up, and press C to try different camera views.
  5. Cross each section before time runs out, then spend your cash on engine power, rims or a new car.

Tips

  • Close passes pay, but clipping another car ends the run instantly, so take near-misses only when the gap is clearly open.
  • Brake when traffic bunches into dense clusters rather than gambling on a narrow gap, because a run that ends early earns far less cash.
  • Put early cash into engine upgrades before cosmetic rims, since higher top speed helps in later sections where traffic gets thicker.
  • In Race mode, move into your rival's preferred lane early to push them toward slower traffic.

Driver Club: Highway Racing FAQ

What modes does Driver Club: Highway Racing have?

Career mode, where you clear timed highway sections as traffic gets denser, and Race mode, where a faster AI opponent chases you. Both pay out cash for upgrades and new cars.

What ends a run in Driver Club: Highway Racing?

Clipping another car's bumper ends it instantly. In Career mode you also have to cross each section before time expires, so speed and clean driving both matter.

How do you unlock faster cars in Driver Club: Highway Racing?

Bank cash. Every completed section pays based on distance covered and risk taken, and new car tiers unlock as your savings grow, moving from mid-range sedans to hypercars with better acceleration and handling.

Can you customize cars in Driver Club: Highway Racing?

Yes, within limits. You can upgrade engine power, swap rims and apply custom colors, but body kits and interior changes are not part of the game.
