About Drift Race in the Open World
Drift Race in the Open World is a driving game built around sliding a car through city streets. You pick a car, head into one of several open-world cities and look for good places to drift, from the main roads to secret streets and dedicated drift spots tucked around each location. There is no single track to follow, so where you drive is up to you.
The fleet stretches from old-school sports cars to exotic racing machines, and every car comes with a personality and strengths of its own. Tuning goes deep: you can adjust the engine, suspension and aerodynamics, and even change the paint. For something different there is crash mode, also called test mode, which sets a series of tests that put your driving under extreme conditions. It is played in a wide landscape view on both computers and phones.

How to play Drift Race in the Open World
Objective
Master drifting in the open cities, tune your car to suit your driving, and clear the series of extreme tests in crash mode.
Getting started
- Turn your phone to landscape, then pick a starting car from the fleet; each one has its own character and features.
- Drive into the first city and get a feel for how the car slides before you chase bigger drifts.
- Look around the streets for secret routes and drift spots, since each city is open to explore.
- Open car tuning and adjust the engine, suspension or aerodynamics, or change the color, once you know how the car handles.
- When you want a different challenge, switch on crash mode and work through its series of extreme driving tests.
Tips
- Change one tuning setting at a time. The engine, suspension and aerodynamics can each be adjusted, and changing them separately shows you what each one does.
- Try a few cars before settling, because the fleet covers everything from old sports models to exotic racers and no two of them feel alike.
- Explore each city away from the main roads; the secret streets and drift spots are part of what every location offers.
- Treat crash mode as its own set of goals. Its tests use extreme conditions, so a car set up for street drifting may need different tuning there.
