About Troll Rider
Troll Rider sends an X-bike down an endless mountain where nothing can be trusted. Trees fall across the path, ramps vanish, bridges give way, signs point you wrong, and a tempting trail of Golden Gears may be bait. One input jumps, holding it in the air rotates the bike backward into a backflip, and landing smoothly keeps your speed and builds your score.
You ride with 3 hearts, and each crash costs one. Gears fill a Repair Meter that wins hearts back, so collecting them keeps a run alive. When a troll gets you, the game lets you retry that same challenge straight away; beat it and you earn REVENGE. Distance also brings fresh biomes, new kinds of traps, the occasional helpful surprise and huge set pieces, and eventually trolls begin bending rules that seemed settled.

How to play Troll Rider
Objective
Ride as far down the mountain as you can, jumping gaps, landing cleanly and collecting Golden Gears to keep your hearts topped up while you learn each troll's trick.
Controls
Desktop
- Left Click or Space: jump
- Hold while airborne: rotate backward and perform a backflip
Mobile
- Tap: jump
- Hold while airborne: rotate backward and perform a backflip
Getting started
- Start rolling downhill and press Space, left click or tap to jump the first gap.
- While airborne, hold the input to rotate the bike backward into a backflip, timing it so the bike comes down cleanly.
- Land smoothly so the bike keeps its speed and your score keeps building.
- Grab Golden Gears to fill the Repair Meter, which recovers hearts lost in crashes.
- When a troll trap knocks you out, retry the same challenge right away and beat it to earn REVENGE.
Tips
- Treat everything as suspect: any tree, ramp, bridge, sign or rock, and even a reward, might be a troll trap, so watch the scenery ahead closely.
- A Gear trail can lead into trouble, so check where it ends before following it just to fill the Repair Meter.
- You only have 3 hearts, so keep collecting Golden Gears even on calm stretches; the Repair Meter is how lost hearts come back.
- Use the instant retry to study a troll's trick, since knowing what the trap does is how you beat it and earn REVENGE.
- Only start a backflip when there is enough air time to finish it, because a smooth landing is what keeps your speed and score growing.

Troll Rider FAQ
How many hearts do you have in Troll Rider?
You start with 3 hearts, and each crash costs one. Golden Gears fill your Repair Meter, which recovers lost hearts, so collecting them is the way to keep a run going longer.
What does REVENGE mean?
Whenever a troll knocks you out, you are dropped straight back into that same challenge for another go. If you beat it on the retry, you earn REVENGE, turning a trap that caught you into one you have learned to handle.
How do you do a backflip?
Jump with a tap, left click or Space, then hold while the bike is airborne. Holding rotates it backward into a backflip, and landing the X-bike smoothly afterwards keeps your speed and score building.
