About Monsters Wheels 2

Monsters Wheels 2 changes its goal from event to event across 24 levels. One race asks you to beat a packed grid to the line, another to flatten rows of parked cars, another to land the biggest backflip, and others to beat the clock. The tracks travel through the Arizona desert, jungles, an amusement park and a beach, and to clear any level you must finish in the top three.

Air time pays. Backflips and other stunts add to the prize money you collect at the finish, as long as you balance the truck and land on its wheels. Money goes into the garage, where three monster trucks can be bought and upgraded in engine, suspension, tyres and nitro. Nitro gives extra speed and extra height off ramps. Power-ups include Double Health, Double Nitro and Coin Magnet, and achievements for destruction, stunts and fast finishes add to your budget.

How to play Monsters Wheels 2

Objective

Finish each of the 24 events in the top three, earning prize money from placings and stunts to upgrade your monster truck or buy a new one.

Controls

Desktop

  • Arrow Up or W: accelerate
  • Arrow Down or S: brake and reverse
  • Arrow Left/Right: lean back or forward in the air
  • Space or X: nitro

Mobile

  • Acceleration: automatic
  • Nitro button: fire the nitro
  • Tilt buttons: rotate the truck left or right

Getting started

  1. Pick your truck in the garage and check the first event's goal, since it may be a race, a crush, a backflip or a time trial.
  2. Accelerate with Arrow Up or W, or let the truck speed up by itself on mobile, and brake with Arrow Down or S.
  3. In the air, lean back or forward with the left and right arrows, or the tilt buttons, to land on your wheels.
  4. Hit nitro with Space or X, or the nitro button, before ramps for extra speed and height.
  5. Finish in the top three to clear the level, then spend the prize money on engine, suspension, tyre or nitro upgrades.

Tips

  • A clean landing matters more than a big flip: stunts only pay if the truck comes down on its wheels and keeps the run going.
  • Save nitro for ramps, where it adds height as well as speed, and grab Double Nitro to keep the boost going for longer.
  • Opponents get more aggressive and tracks harder as the levels go on, so put early prize money into upgrades instead of waiting for a new truck.
  • Chase achievements for destruction, stunts and fast finishes, because they add to the budget and let you unlock new trucks sooner.

Monsters Wheels 2 FAQ

What do you need to clear a level in Monsters Wheels 2?

A top-three finish. Anything worse than third leaves the level uncleared, so it has to be replayed, whatever the event's particular goal happens to be.

How does nitro work on mobile in Monsters Wheels 2?

A dedicated nitro button triggers the boost, acceleration is automatic and two tilt buttons rotate the truck. On desktop you use Space or X for nitro, and Arrow Up or W and Arrow Down or S to drive.

What can you upgrade in Monsters Wheels 2?

Each of the three monster trucks can be upgraded in four areas: engine, suspension, tyres and nitro. Prize money from every event goes to the garage, where you can also buy an entirely new truck.

Are all 24 levels in Monsters Wheels 2 races?

No. Events rotate between racing a grid to the finish, crushing rows of parked cars, backflip challenges and time trials, set in the Arizona desert, jungles, an amusement park and a beach.
