About Scale the wheels
Scale the wheels is built on one control: a slider that changes the size of your car's wheels while it drives. Each level is a track to the finish line, and reading the terrain ahead tells you which size you need. Small wheels let the car pick up speed, while large ones let it climb onto tall obstacles at the cost of becoming slow. There are more than 30 tracks, and the balance between those two states makes each one play differently.
Wheel size affects more than speed. The bigger the wheels, the harder the car pulls itself back upright when it is not standing on all of them, which helps after an awkward bump. A sudden, drastic size change makes the car bounce, a handy way out when it gets stuck, and some levels demand a fast run-up to hit an obstacle. At the end of each level the car jumps, and upgrading the acceleration level sends it further for more coins.

How to play Scale the wheels
Objective
Reach the finish line on every level by switching wheel size at the right moments, then jump as far as possible at the end to collect coins for acceleration upgrades.
Controls
Desktop
- Wheel-size slider: shrink the wheels for speed or grow them to climb obstacles
- Restart button: replay the level when the car is stuck for good
Getting started
- Start the first level and find the wheel-size slider in the game interface; it is the only control you need.
- Slide toward small wheels on open stretches so the car can accelerate toward the next obstacle.
- Grow the wheels as a tall obstacle approaches so the car can drive up and over it, accepting the drop in speed.
- If the car gets stuck, swing the slider sharply from one extreme to the other to make it bounce loose.
- When nothing moves the car any more, use the restart button for the level and try a different approach.
- Spend coins from the end-of-level jump on the acceleration level so later jumps travel further.
Tips
- Large wheels pull the car back upright more strongly when it is not on all its wheels, so enlarge them after a bad landing or when it tips onto its side.
- Some levels need speed to hit an obstacle, so stay on small wheels during the run-up and only grow them at the last moment if you need height.
- A drastic size change makes the car bounce, which is often enough to unstick it before you need the restart button.
- Upgrading the acceleration level lengthens the final jump, and a longer jump earns more coins, so that upgrade keeps paying back across every level.

Scale the wheels FAQ
What is the only control in Scale the wheels?
Everything runs through a slider in the game interface that changes wheel size, and it works the same way on every platform. There is no steering or throttle to manage; you decide whether the wheels are small for speed or large for climbing.
What do large wheels do in Scale the wheels?
Large wheels let the car drive onto high obstacles, but they make it slow. They also make the car right itself more strongly when it is not standing on all its wheels, which helps after a bad bounce or an awkward landing.
What should you do if the car gets stuck?
First try a drastic change in wheel size so the car bounces. If it has stopped completely and still does not move when you resize the wheels, use the level's restart button and attempt the level again.
