About Demolition Derby Life
Demolition Derby Life is a 3D smash-up set in a dirt bowl ringed by grandstands, floodlights and giant billboards. The camera rides behind your green-and-white sedan, 88 painted on the roof, while rivals such as a pink-striped estate and a battered white wagon charge across the stony ground. A HEALTH bar with a number sits above a SHIELD bar at the top left, POSITION gives your current place at the top right, a small radar box on the left marks rivals as red arrows, and a yellow pause button waits in the corner.
Contact costs health quickly: a few seconds pinned against the pink car took the bar from 110 to 60. A RESPAWN plate shows above your car at times, and using it sets the car back upright on open ground. The menu offers RESUME, RESTART, MAIN MENU and RETIRE. The game's description adds upgrades for your car between bouts and frames each match as a fight to outlast the rest of the field.

How to play Demolition Derby Life
Objective
Wreck the rival cars while keeping your own HEALTH bar above zero, climb to the top POSITION and be the last car still moving in the arena.
Controls
Desktop
- Left/Right arrow keys: steer the car
- Space bar: open the menu with RESUME, RESTART, MAIN MENU and RETIRE
- Click RESPAWN: put the car back upright on open ground
- Yellow pause button (top right): pause the bout
Getting started
- When the arena loads, find your car: the green-and-white sedan with 88 on the roof, seen from behind.
- If a RESPAWN plate is floating over it, click the plate to set the car upright on open ground.
- Read the HUD before charging: HEALTH and SHIELD at top left, POSITION at top right, rivals as red arrows in the radar box.
- Steer with the left and right arrow keys toward a rival and hit it, watching how fast your own HEALTH number falls.
- Use the space bar or the yellow pause button for RESUME, RESTART, MAIN MENU or RETIRE whenever you need a break.
Tips
- HEALTH drains fast in a head-on shove, so back away once a rival has you pinned instead of pushing until your bar is empty.
- The radar box on the left shows rivals as red arrows, which helps you spot a car lining up a side hit before it reaches you.
- Keep an eye on the SHIELD bar under HEALTH; it sits right beside your health number and is part of your protection.
- RETIRE on the menu ends the bout outright, so pick RESTART instead when you only want a fresh attempt at the same arena.

What is the RESPAWN plate above the car for?
