About City Chase: Escape Police
City Chase: Escape Police is an endless getaway. You drive a car through the city with the police on your tail, and the run keeps going until they finally bust you. The longer you stay ahead of them, the better your time and score, but the pressure only rises: the Wanted Level keeps climbing and the cops keep closing in. By default the car accelerates by itself, so your attention goes on steering and dodging.
Pickups keep you going. Coins scattered on the road go toward the garage, where new cars with their own traits unlock. HP boosts repair damage during a run, and the Ram Bar lets you go on the attack, smashing police cars and sending them flying. Controls are flexible: steer by holding either side of the screen or with the arrow keys or A and D, and on mobile you can switch to a button mode with on-screen arrows plus GO and REVERSE pedals.

How to play City Chase: Escape Police
Objective
Keep ahead of the police as long as possible, dodging cop cars, collecting coins and pickups and surviving the rising Wanted Levels to set a new best time.
Controls
Desktop
- Left Arrow or A: steer left
- Right Arrow or D: steer right
- Down Arrow or S: reverse
- Up Arrow, W or Spacebar: speed up, needed only in button mode since the car drives itself otherwise
- Mouse: hold the left button down on one half of the screen to turn that way
- R: unstick the car while the run carries on
- Esc or on-screen pause button: pause
Mobile
- Hold left side of screen: steer left
- Hold right side of screen: steer right
- Hold both sides: reverse
- Release: straighten up while the car keeps accelerating
- Button Mode: swap to on-screen arrows plus GO and REVERSE pedals, saved for next time
- Tap the Camera button: drop the view behind the car
- Tap the Reset button: unstick the car
Getting started
- Start a run and let the car pick up speed on its own, since it accelerates by default.
- Steer away from the first police cars by holding down either half of the screen, or with A and D or the arrows.
- Drive over coins and HP boosts as you go, and grab the Ram Bar when you see it to smash cops out of the way.
- Hold both sides of the screen, or press S or the Down Arrow, to back up when you are boxed in.
- If the car gets stuck, use the Reset button or press R to get it moving and keep the run going.
Tips
- The Ram Bar is your one way to fight back, so save your aggression for when you hold it and dodge cops the rest of the time.
- HP boosts repair damage on the fly, so steer toward them when the car has taken a few hits rather than chasing coins.
- Reset with R or the Reset button instead of giving up when stuck, because it gets the car moving again without ending the run.
- If holding the screen sides feels loose, switch to Button Mode for on-screen arrows and pedals; the game remembers your choice.
- Coins fill the garage with new cars that have unique traits, so a long run pays off twice: a better time and more unlocks.
