About Race Through Traffic
Race Through Traffic sets you on a crowded road with one aim: keep driving without crashing for as long as the run lasts. Cars fill the lanes ahead, and you slip between them, passing whenever a gap opens. The score at the end depends on two things, how far you got and how much risk you took while overtaking, so close passes count for more than cautious ones.
Coins collected along the way carry over between runs. They pay for upgrades to speed, handling and other stats, and they unlock new cars. Before each run you pick a mode, and the mode changes what you control. In some, the up and down arrows let you accelerate and brake; elsewhere those keys are not available and the job comes down to steering left and right. Either way, each new run is a chance to set a fresh record.

How to play Race Through Traffic
Objective
Drive as far as you can through heavy traffic without crashing, overtaking boldly to raise your score and collecting coins to improve your car between runs.
Controls
Desktop
- A or Left Arrow: move left
- D or Right Arrow: move right
- Up Arrow: accelerate, in modes that allow it
- Down Arrow: brake, in modes that allow it
- On-screen buttons: steer and drive without using the keyboard
Getting started
- Choose a mode before the run starts; it decides whether the up and down arrows give you speed and braking control.
- Once on the road, change lanes around slower cars using A and D or the left and right arrows.
- Overtake when a gap appears and pick up coins as you go, avoiding any contact that would end the run.
- When the run ends, spend your coins on speed, handling or other stats, or save them toward a new car.
- Start another run with the improved car and try to beat the distance and score of your last attempt.
Tips
- Risky overtaking adds to the final score, so pass close when you can, but only when the lane beyond the car you are passing is clear.
- Handling upgrades help you change lanes more sharply, which matters more than raw speed once the road gets crowded and the gaps narrow.
- In modes with braking, a quick press of the down arrow to drop behind a slow car is safer than squeezing into a gap that is closing.
- Chase coins only when the way is clear; a longer, safer run adds more to your score and your savings than one risky grab.

Race Through Traffic FAQ
Can you speed up and brake in Race Through Traffic?
Only in modes that allow it. Where it is available, the up arrow accelerates and the down arrow brakes. In every mode you steer left with A or the left arrow and right with D or the right arrow.
How is the final score worked out?
It grows with the distance you cover and with how risky your overtaking maneuvers are. A long run full of close passes scores best, while a crash brings the attempt to an end and leaves you with whatever you reached.
What are coins used for in this traffic racer?
Coins pay for car upgrades such as speed and handling, along with other stats, and they also unlock new vehicles. You pick them up during each run and spend them afterward to make the next drive go farther.
Is Race Through Traffic multiplayer?
No, it is a single-player game. There is no rival driver to beat, only the traffic and your own previous records, which every new run gives you another chance to break.
