About Stunsteval Siderollers
Stunsteval Siderollers is a side-view arcade race with an unusual set of opponents. Instead of other cars, you are racing something in the sky, be it a biplane, a fighter jet or a helicopter, and your job is to outpace it as the road scrolls past. The means of doing that is careful gear work rather than simply holding down the throttle.
Gears are managed by hand. You drive forward or back, shift up and shift down, and timing each change well is what holds the car at the speed it needs. The setting varies between runs without changing the core race, with conditions that include rain-soaked roads and a dark highway. On a phone the same driving is handled with on-screen arrows, while a computer uses four letter keys, one for each job, plus a quick double press of the forward key for dropping a gear.

Objective

- Press W to shift up as the car gathers speed, keeping pace with the rival above the road.
- Drop a gear with S, or a quick double-tap of D, when the car needs a lower gear after slowing.
- Keep managing the gears through the rain or along the dark highway until you have outpaced the aircraft.

- Gear timing is the core skill, so shift up once the car has built speed in its current gear rather than waiting too long.
- Two inputs lower the gear, S and a double-tap of D; pick one and use it consistently so you never shift down by accident.
