About Hotgear
Hotgear is a pursuit racing game in which you are the one being chased. In Missions, each run is a new getaway: you complete challenges while outrunning the car on your tail, dodging explosions and racing for the finish line. The roam mode drops the chase and opens up the city, so you can drift and explore the streets however you like.
The garage is the other half of the game. There is a selection of racing cars to choose from, with stylish skins, and you can repaint your car from a wide range of colors and change the wheels. Quirky accessories go on top, from crowns to rubber ducks, so your getaway car can look as odd as you want. Expect a wide screen whichever device you drive on.

How to play Hotgear
Objective
Escape your pursuer and reach the finish line in each mission, completing its challenges along the way, and build a garage of customized cars.
Getting started
- Rotate the phone to its wide position for the city streets, or play Hotgear on a computer.
- Pick a car from the garage, and if you like, change its color, wheels or accessories before driving.
- Start with Missions, where each run is a getaway with challenges to complete while a chaser follows you.
- Dodge the explosions on the route and keep your speed up so the pursuer cannot catch you before the finish line.
- Switch to the roam mode when you want a break from the chase, and practise drifting around the open city.
Tips
- The roam mode has no chaser, so use it to practise drifting and cornering before taking that skill into a mission.
- Explosions are part of the mission routes, so look ahead and pick your line early instead of swerving at the last second.
- Each car is built for speed and style, so try a few in the open city before settling on the one you customize with colors, wheels and accessories.
