About Canyon Drifter

Canyon Drifter is a 2D moto-trial where hard tracks meet a bike you can tune. Each course is a run of steep climbs and jumps, and the way through is balance: you lean back to lift the front wheel and lean forward to drop the nose, adjusting the bike's angle while you work the throttle and brake. Getting that mix right is what keeps the rider upright.

The garage is the other half of the game. Before a run you choose a bike setup that matches the dirt and the shape of the ground ahead, and when a track keeps stopping you, you head back, retune the bike and try again; a setup change can turn a stage you could not clear into one you can. Best times across every track go on a leaderboard, so each finished run is also a chance to post a quicker one. Restart is a single key or button away, which suits the trial-and-error rhythm.

How to play Canyon Drifter

Objective

Clear each track's steep climbs and jumps by balancing the bike with lean, throttle and brake, tune your build in the garage, and set the best times on the leaderboard.

Controls

Desktop

  • Up Arrow or W: throttle
  • Down Arrow or S: brake or reverse
  • Left Arrow or A: lean back and lift the front wheel
  • Right Arrow or D: lean forward and drop the nose
  • Esc or P: pause
  • R: restart

Mobile

  • Throttle button, top right: accelerate
  • Brake button, top left: brake or reverse
  • Lean buttons, bottom: lean forward or back
  • Top-right corner buttons: pause or restart

Getting started

  1. Choose a bike build that suits the dirt and terrain of the track you are about to ride.
  2. On a phone, touch the screen once to bring up the four buttons; on a computer, use the arrows or W, A, S and D.
  3. Open the throttle with Up or W and start climbing, braking with Down or S if the bike runs away from you.
  4. Lean back with Left or A to lift the front wheel on climbs, and forward with Right or D to drop the nose for landings.
  5. If a track stops you repeatedly, go back to the garage, change the bike's tuning and ride it again.

Tips

  • Lean is your balance tool: lean back to keep the front wheel up on steep climbs and lean forward so the nose comes down before a jump lands.
  • A stage that seems impossible may just need a different setup, so retune the bike in the garage before grinding the same attempt.
  • R restarts instantly, so restart a run that has gone wrong early rather than limping to the finish with a poor time.
  • Leaderboard times count on every track, so return to cleared stages with a better-tuned bike to shave seconds off.

Canyon Drifter FAQ

How do you lean in Canyon Drifter?

On a computer, Left Arrow or A leans back and lifts the front wheel, while Right Arrow or D leans forward and drops the nose. On a phone, the lean buttons sit at the bottom of the screen.

Where are the phone controls?

The four on-screen buttons show up the first time you touch the screen: throttle top right, brake top left and both lean buttons along the bottom. Pause and restart are up in the top-right corner.

What can you do in the Canyon Drifter garage?

Pick a build suited to the terrain and retune the bike. When a track keeps stopping you, changing the setup can make it rideable, so the garage matters as much as your riding.

Is there a leaderboard?

Yes, it tracks your best times across all tracks. Clearing a stage is only the start; returning with better balance and a better-tuned bike is how you climb the rankings.
