About Super Pork
Super Pork is a retro shooter starring an unlikely hero: a fearless flying pig. Aliens have invaded, and this winged pork chop is what stands between them and humanity. The pig moves freely around the screen, slipping past incoming attacks and firing back, and the pixel art leans into the comedy of the idea without making the fight any softer.
Levels come in a range of difficulties, and power-ups appear along the way, each granting a temporary ability that can swing a battle. The catch is that power-ups often turn up in dangerous spots, so grabbing one is a risk to weigh against what it offers. Getting started
- Keep one hand on the arrow keys or WASD for flying and the other near the space bar for shooting.
- Start the first level and practise moving the pig around the screen to stay out of enemy fire.
- Press the space bar to shoot back at the aliens whenever you have a clear line.
- Collect power-ups for temporary abilities, but judge how dangerous their location is before going for one.
- Push on through further levels, which vary in difficulty as you progress.
Tips
- Dodge first and shoot second: the pig survives by staying out of the line of fire, then striking when an opening appears.
- Power-ups often sit in dangerous places, so grab one only when the reward clearly outweighs the risk of flying into enemy attacks.
- Balance offence and defence. Firing nonstop while drifting into attacks gets the pig hit, yet pure dodging never clears the aliens.
