About SWAT Cats
SWAT Cats is a team shooter in which every operative on the map is a cat in tactical gear. Matches take place on compact, fast-paced maps built for gunfights, and because play is multiplayer, friends can group up, enter the same match and talk to each other through the in-game chat.
There are four cat operatives: Private Nine-Lives, Sergeant Silent-Purr, Corporal Strongpaw and Captain Scratch. Everyone starts as the Private, and the other three open up in later matches. The loadout is spread across the number keys, from a main gun and a pistol to a knife, a bomb and a heal, with an aim mode on the right mouse button and a key for picking up weapons lying on the map. You can also sit down, jump and bring up the maps screen mid-match. It runs on PC and on mobile.

How to play SWAT Cats
Objective
Win firefights in multiplayer matches as a battle cat, starting with Private Nine-Lives and opening up the other three operatives as you play more matches.

- W, A, S, D: move forward, left, back and right

Getting started
- Enter your first match as Private Nine-Lives, the cat every new player starts with, since the other operatives come later.
- Walk around the map using W, A, S and D, press Space to jump and C whenever you want your cat to sit down.
- Hold the right mouse button for aim mode and shoot using the left mouse button or Lctrl, pressing R to recharge.
- Switch gear with the number keys, 1 for the main gun up to 5 for heal, and press F to grab weapons you find.
- Press T to chat with the players you are teamed with, M to check the maps and Tab to pause.
Tips
- Key 5 switches to heal, so swap to it in the quiet moments between fights instead of walking into the next one hurt.
- Corporal Strongpaw, Sergeant Silent-Purr and Captain Scratch only become available in later matches, so keep playing as the Private to reach them.
- Squad up with friends and keep the T chat open between rounds, since the shooter is set up for groups joining matches together.
- Press F when you pass a weapon on the map; picking it up adds an option alongside the gun, pistol, knife and bomb.
