About TANKNAROK
TANKNAROK is a top-down arena shooter built around tanks and quick, competitive rounds. You drive your tank around the arena and swing its turret a full 360 degrees around the hull, so you can keep firing in one direction while moving in another. Matches are fast and chaotic, with destruction breaking out all around as tanks trade fire.
Every session starts in a lobby. From there you can choose single mode or multiplayer mode, and pressing R readies you up and starts the game. If Host Mode will not get you in, Shared Mode is the alternative way into a session. Once the match is running, the left mouse button fires whatever weapon you currently have, and Escape opens the menu or pauses the action whenever you need a moment.

How to play TANKNAROK
Objective
Ready up in the lobby, then outmanoeuvre and outshoot the other tanks in the arena using your turret and current weapon.

- WASD: steer and drive the tank
- Mouse: aim the turret 360 degrees
- Left mouse button: fire your current weapon
- R (in the lobby): ready up and launch the game
- Esc: open the menu or pause
Getting started
- Join the lobby and choose single mode or multiplayer mode from the start screen.
- Press R to ready up; the game starts once you have readied in the lobby.
- If Host Mode does not work, Shared Mode is the other way into a session.
- Drive with WASD and point the turret at a rival tank with the mouse.
- Fire with the left mouse button, and press Esc whenever you need the menu or a pause.
Tips
- Because the turret turns a full 360 degrees, keep driving out of danger with WASD while the mouse holds your aim on the target.
- Remember the lobby step: nothing starts until you press R, in single mode as well as in multiplayer.
- Keep Shared Mode in mind as a fallback, since it is the way in when Host Mode refuses to start a session.
