About Rise of the Dead
Rise of the Dead is set in a city sliding into chaos after a zombie outbreak. The dead come at you from every angle, and staying alive means keeping your weapons loaded and your position under control. Survival is only part of the job, though. Quests built around specific tasks push the story forward, and the bigger question running through them is what actually caused the apocalypse.
The game is split into several modes. Sniper missions put the focus on long-range shooting, survival challenges are about holding out against the waves, and resource exploration sends you looking for supplies. Between fights you spend on your arsenal: upgrading weapons you own, buying new guns and improving your skills to raise the odds of making it through. A punch covers close range, and two prop slots add extra tools to the fight. Computers use a full keyboard layout, and phones get a virtual joystick and buttons.
