About Imposter 3D online horror
Imposter 3D online horror takes place in sci-fi settings such as future cities and modern bases, where a traitor hides among the astronauts. You can play alone, join a public match or set up a private room for friends. As a crewmate you complete tasks, collect babies and keep out of the hands of the monster or traitor; as the imposter you go after the astronauts, catching or luring them in ways that differ from mode to mode. A briefing at the start of each game explains the rules.
Seven modes change those rules. Mafia holds up to 10 players with one hidden impostor who can transform and must be voted out. PvE sets players against a computer-controlled monster, PvP hands the monster to a human, and Zombie turns everyone caught into an imposter. Hide and Seek is about outlasting the round, Hunt is a race to collect the most babies within the time limit, and Rescue lets imposters trap astronauts in cages. Eight maps, City 16 and a dark Forest among them, set the scene.

Objective
Survive, finish tasks and stay out of the imposter's grip as a crewmate, or catch the astronauts as the imposter; each mode adds its own winning condition on top.

Getting started
- Pick single player, join an open match, or create your own room and invite friends into it.
- Choose one of the seven modes, then take in the briefing given at the start of the game, which lays out its rules.
- As a crewmate, move with WASD, switch the flashlight on with F and press E to use objects while you complete tasks.
- Watch the flashlight charge, press R to use a battery when it runs low, and duck into a vent for cover when danger gets close.
- In Mafia, keep an eye on every player and join the vote to expose the impostor before it transforms and starts catching people.
Tips
- Energy drains quickly, so pick up batteries as you go and swap them in with R before your light dies on a dark map like Forest.
- Play with sound on if you can, because nearby footsteps warn you about a monster before it comes into view.
- In Hide and Seek, collecting babies is optional, so focus on staying hidden until the round ends rather than roaming for pickups.
- Hunt goes to whoever collects more babies than anyone else before time is up, and hindering rivals is allowed, so move fast and get in their way.
- Achievements such as collecting 10 babies pay out coins, which buy skins, emojis, stickers and emotions in the shop.

Coins earned in play buy skins, emojis, stickers and emotions in the shop, for both your astronaut and the imposter. From the very first session you already own a cat face and a cat-ear hat.
How does it play on a phone?
A virtual stick handles movement, swiping turns the camera and on-screen button presses perform the actions. On a computer you move with WASD, look with the mouse and use letter keys for the flashlight and batteries.
