About War V: Path of the Survivor!
War V: Path of the Survivor! takes place in the aftermath of a man-made disaster, told from a first-person view. A virus has infected most of humanity and turned people into zombies, the survivors have formed paramilitary groups to hold on, and somewhere in the ruins there may be an antidote that could save what is left. You follow that story through a zombie-infested world, gun in hand.
The enemies come in hordes and range from basic infected to heavily mutated variants, so your arsenal has to keep pace. Along the way you buy weapons modeled on real-world firearms and fit them with a variety of modules, while a leveling system grows alongside your gear as the campaign goes on. On a computer you move with WASD, run with Left Shift, jump with the spacebar, aim with the right mouse button and fire with the left, with R to reload and T to inspect your gun.

Getting started
- Start the story and get comfortable walking with WASD, holding Left Shift to run and pressing the spacebar to jump.
- When zombies show up, hold the right mouse button to aim and press the left mouse button to shoot.
- Press R to reload whenever the horde gives you a moment, and T to inspect the weapon in your hands.
- Buy weapons modeled on real-world firearms and install modules on them to build up your loadout.
- Expect mutated zombies alongside the simplest infected as you push deeper, and let the leveling system strengthen your loadout.
Tips
- Hordes can include mutated zombies as well as basic ones, so fit modules to your weapons before pushing further into the story.
- Running with Left Shift helps you open distance from a horde; then stop, aim with the right mouse button and fire.
- Reload with R during quiet moments rather than in the middle of a fight, since a horde gives little time once it closes in.
- Treat buying weapons and fitting modules as part of progress, alongside the leveling system, rather than sticking with your first gun.
