About Noob Playground
Noob Playground is a pixel-art sandbox filled with ragdoll people: the Noob, the Pro and the Zombie, among others. There are no tasks to complete. Instead you get a play area, a large supply of building blocks and a pile of items, and you decide what happens to the characters.
Much of the fun comes from the physics. Blocks can be combined into houses for the humans, then blown apart with TNT, and the ragdolls scatter when the blast hits. Three weapons add another way to cause chaos. Every item can be moved, rotated, frozen in place or activated, and the characters themselves can be grabbed and knocked into the blocks. Since nothing is scored, the only measure of a good session is whatever you find funny or clever. The playground stretches across a landscape screen.

How to play Noob Playground
Objective
Build, experiment and wreck as you like in the sandbox, using blocks, TNT, weapons and items to see how the ragdoll humans react.
Getting started
- Turn the screen to landscape so the whole playground is in view.
- Bring a few humans into the scene, such as the Noob, the Pro or the Zombie.
- Combine blocks to build a simple house around the humans you placed.
- Try moving, rotating, freezing and activating items to learn what each one does.
- Set off TNT or use one of the three weapons and watch the ragdolls scatter.
Tips
- Use freeze to fix an item in position while you arrange the rest of a scene around it.
- Build the house first and save the TNT for last; the ragdoll physics look best when there is a structure to scatter.
- Mix character types, the Noob, the Pro and the Zombie, in the same scene to compare how each ragdoll reacts to blasts and weapons.
