About Paper Panzer
Paper Panzer puts you in command of a German tank during the Second World War. The battles are tank against tank, and the premise is that your machine can take down any tank in the world if you handle it well. Moving and aiming the turret is at the heart of each fight, since your firepower only counts when the gun is pointed at the enemy.
The other half of the game is the tank collection. Every German tank can be commanded in battle, and many of them can be bought outright from the store. Some owners refuse to sell, though, so those rarer tanks have to be rented instead. The lineup draws on Germany's wartime tanks, known for heavy armour and firepower, and picking which machine to take into battle is a decision of its own between fights.

How to play Paper Panzer
Objective
Command German tanks in battle, aim your turret to destroy enemy tanks, and expand your lineup by buying tanks from the store or renting the ones that are not for sale.
Getting started
- Play in landscape on a phone, or on a computer if you prefer a larger battlefield.
- Take your first tank into battle and practise moving the turret so the gun lines up with enemy tanks.
- Fire once the turret is on target, then adjust it for the next enemy tank on the field.
- Visit the store to see which German tanks can be purchased directly.
- For tanks whose owners will not sell, use the rental option so you can still command them in battle.
Tips
- Turret movement is the core skill, so get comfortable aiming in your first battles before spending on new tanks.
- Not every tank can be bought; if a model you want is held by an owner who refuses to sell, renting is the only way to command it.
- Buy the tanks the store sells outright and save rentals for the rarer ones whose owners will not part with them.
