About ParkourCraft

ParkourCraft is a blocky platforming game built around speed. Each level is a course of blocks above lava, and you jump from one to the next on the way to the finish. The lava underneath is the one thing to stay out of, so every gap asks for a little judgement. At the end of each level waits a chest, and opening it pays out the loot inside, emeralds included.

There are 10 maps, and each is harder than the one before, so the opening courses work as practice for the tighter jumps later on. The game is made for speedrunning, so finishing a level is only half the goal; finishing it faster is the other half, and scores can be shared with friends to see who is quickest. The look is cute pixel art on a wide screen, and the game is meant for computers rather than phones.

How to play ParkourCraft

Objective

Jump across the blocks of all 10 maps without falling into the lava, crack open the chest that closes every level, and finish quickly enough to beat your friends' scores.

Controls

ParkourCraft is not marked as suitable for phones, so a computer is the place to play it.

Getting started

  1. Open the game on a computer, since it is designed for a wide screen and is not marked as phone-friendly.
  2. Start the first map, the easiest of the 10, and learn how far a jump carries between blocks.
  3. Cross each gap with care; the lava below the blocks is what you must avoid on every course.
  4. Reach the end of the level and open the chest to collect the loot and emeralds inside.
  5. Replay finished maps for a quicker run, share your score with friends, and then move on to the harder ones.

Tips

  • The maps grow harder in order, so use the early ones to settle your jump timing before attempting the later courses at full speed.
  • Speed and safety pull apart over lava. On a first visit, play a map slowly to learn it, and only then try a faster run.
  • Every level ends with a chest, so a completed level always pays out; clearing all 10 maps is the surest way to build up emeralds.

ParkourCraft FAQ

How many maps are in ParkourCraft?

Ten. They are arranged so that each one is harder than the last, and every level finishes with a chest of loot, so working through all ten is both the main challenge and the main source of rewards.

What are the chests for?

They hold the reward for finishing a level. A chest waits at the end of each course, and opening it gives you the loot inside, including emeralds, so completing levels is how your collection grows.

Is ParkourCraft a speedrun game?

Yes. It is built for speedrunning every level and sharing the score with friends, so after you can finish a map, the next goal is finishing it faster than before.

Can ParkourCraft be played on a phone?

It is not marked as suitable for phones, only for computers. The courses are laid out in landscape for a desktop screen, so a laptop or desktop browser is the best place to run its maps.
