About Demolition Car - Rope and Hook

Demolition Car - Rope and Hook gives you a car, a rope and a grappling hook, along with abandoned buildings that need to come down. Each demolition happens in two stages. First you guide the hook around the structure, winding the rope over it as thoroughly as you can. Then you hit the gas and let the car haul on the rope.

Realistic destruction physics decide what happens next. A well-wrapped building with enough pulling power behind it collapses completely, which earns more points, while a weak wrap or an underpowered car may leave part of it standing. Along the way you can improve your winch and buy new cars, so the force you bring keeps growing. The skill lies in judging whether your current strength is enough for the building in front of you, then wrapping it well enough to use all of that strength.

How to play Demolition Car - Rope and Hook

Objective

Bring down each abandoned building by wrapping it tightly with the hook and rope and then pressing the gas hard, earning more points when the whole structure falls.

Controls

Desktop

  • Move the mouse with the left button held: guide the hook around the building
  • Gas button: press it hard to pull the wrapped building down

Mobile

  • Drag a finger across the screen: move the hook
  • Gas button: floor it to demolish the wrapped structure

Getting started

  1. Size up the abandoned building in front of you and plan how the rope can wrap around as much of it as possible.
  2. Move the hook by dragging a finger across the phone screen, or by holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse.
  3. Wind the rope over and around the structure, since a thorough wrap is what lets the pull bring the whole thing down.
  4. Press the gas button with full force and let the physics tear the building apart, earning points for what falls.
  5. Along the way, improve your winch or buy a new car so you have enough strength for bigger structures.

Tips

  • Cover as much of the structure as you can before pulling; a loose, partial wrap leaves sections standing and costs you points.
  • Work out whether your car and winch are strong enough before you pull, since the right strength is what brings down an entire building.
  • When buildings keep surviving your pulls, put your next upgrade into the winch, because more strength means more of the structure falls and more points come in.
  • New cars are another route to more power, so weigh buying a fresh vehicle against improving the winch when a building resists.

Demolition Car - Rope and Hook FAQ

How do you knock down a building in Demolition Car - Rope and Hook?

Wrap it with the hook and rope as thoroughly as you can, then press the gas hard so the car pulls on the rope. Realistic physics take over, and the better the wrap and the stronger your setup, the more of the building collapses.

How do you move the hook on a phone?

Drag your finger across the screen and the hook follows. On a computer, steer with the mouse while holding its left button instead. In both cases the goal is to wind the rope around the building before using the gas.

What can you upgrade?

You can improve your winch and buy new cars. More strength helps you demolish an entire building rather than part of it, and a full demolition earns more points, so upgrades feed straight back into scoring.
