About Pocket Universe
Pocket Universe starts you on a tiny world and asks you to make it bigger, one hex at a time. You walk your character around, mine trees, rocks and crystals, and bring in four kinds of material: wood, stone, metal and crystals. Those materials pay for every step of growth that follows.
Spending is where the progress shows. Resources unlock fresh hexes of land and upgrade your tools, and better tools are needed to harvest the rarer materials further out. New ground leads into different biomes, among them lush meadows, frozen tundras and volcanic regions, with more beyond those. The unexplored edges are not empty, though: monsters, golems and wild creatures guard them, so pushing outward means fighting for each new patch. Bit by bit, the small starting area is meant to grow into a whole universe of linked lands.

How to play Pocket Universe
Objective
Gather resources, upgrade your tools and unlock new hexes until your tiny starting world has grown into a whole universe of biomes.

- Joystick: move your character around the hexes
Getting started
- Use the joystick to walk your character over to the nearest trees and rocks on the starting hex.
- Mine trees, rocks and crystals to collect wood, stone, metal and crystals, the four materials everything else is paid with.
- Spend your first haul on a tool upgrade or on unlocking a new hex to widen the map.
- Head into the biome you open, whether a meadow, a tundra or a volcanic region, and mine what it offers.
- Fight the monsters, golems and wild creatures that stand guard over unexplored land so you can keep expanding outward.
Tips
- Put early resources into tool upgrades, because the rare materials found further out need better tools before you can harvest them.
- Avoid spending every last resource at once, since new hexes and tool upgrades draw on the same pool of wood, stone, metal and crystals.
- Expect a guard at each frontier: monsters, golems and wild creatures sit in the unexplored areas, so be ready to fight whenever you push past the map edge.
