About Special Ops: GO
Special Ops: GO is a modern first-person shooter built around short, competitive matches. Player-versus-player battles run up to five against five in real time, and the classic Battle mode asks you to eliminate as many opponents as possible before the match timer runs out. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Ranked and Custom Rooms add more ways to play, and you can join an existing room or set up your own.
Solo players get missions that advance across the map, emptying areas of enemies and crossing obstacle courses between battle points, with foes growing stronger and more aggressive as you advance. Money and gold earned in play upgrade the weapons you own, buy new models from an arsenal of more than 20 pistols, SMGs, rifles and sniper rifles, or strengthen your gear. Weapon skins, daily rewards, quests, ranks and credits round out the progression.

Objective
Win PvP matches by eliminating more opponents than the other side, or push through the single-player missions, upgrading weapons and gear to climb the leaderboard.

Getting started
- Pick a mode: single-player missions to learn the controls, or Battle, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Ranked or a Custom Room for PvP.
- Move with WASD, jump with Space, aim with the right mouse button and fire with the left.
- Switch between your weapons with 1, 2 and 3, choosing a sniper rifle for long sightlines and a pistol or SMG for tight spaces.
- Press H to use a health kit when you are hurt, and Tab to check where you stand on the leaderboard.
- Spend money and gold earned in matches on weapon upgrades, new guns or stronger gear between games.
Tips
- Battle mode rewards the most eliminations within the time limit, so stay in the fight rather than hiding until the clock runs out.
- Some maps have long sightlines built for sniper duels; bring a sniper rifle there and keep pistols or SMGs for the close-quarters maps.
- Play with sound on, since audio lets you react faster to threats that appear suddenly during a match.
- Leaderboard position follows your statistics, so every successful competitive match pushes you higher in the overall rankings.
