About Star Wing
Star Wing puts a single spaceship between Earth and an alien invasion, and you are the one flying it. Swarms of enemies pour in, and your ship shoots its way through them while slipping past their fire. There is no wingman and no second craft waiting in reserve; this lone fighter is described as Earth's last hope, and the fate of the wider universe rides on it as well.
The pressure builds as you go. The number of enemies keeps growing, and the fights move into hazardous environments, so later waves are far busier than the opening ones. Progress earns the right to upgrade, and those upgrades cover the craft itself along with its guns and lasers, gradually unlocking the full destructive power needed to wipe out every enemy. The screen is portrait on phones and computers.

How to play Star Wing
Objective
Pilot the lone spaceship against ever larger alien swarms, protect Earth, and spend the upgrades you earn on the ship, its guns and its lasers to destroy every enemy.
Getting started
- Hold the phone upright, as Star Wing uses a portrait screen.
- Start the first wave and keep the ship moving to dodge enemy fire while your shots thin out the swarm.
- Survive long enough to earn your first upgrade, then put it into the ship, its guns or its lasers.
- Expect each new stage to bring more enemies than the last, along with more hazardous surroundings.
Tips
- Enemy numbers keep rising, so lean early upgrades toward firepower; stronger guns and lasers clear the larger swarms before they crowd the screen.
- Dodging matters as much as shooting. The ship is a lone fighter, so every hit avoided keeps the only defender of Earth in the fight.
- Watch the surroundings as well as the aliens, because later battles take place in hazardous environments that add danger beyond enemy fire.

Star Wing FAQ
What can be upgraded in Star Wing?
The spaceship along with its guns and lasers. Upgrades become available as the game progresses, and each one moves the ship closer to its full destructive capacity, which you will need as enemy numbers grow.
Does Star Wing get harder as you go?
Yes. You face an increasingly large number of enemies, and the environments become hazardous, so the opening waves are a warm-up for much busier fights later on.
Which way do you hold the phone for Star Wing?
Upright. The game is designed for portrait orientation on any device, so on a desktop it appears as a tall play area in the browser window.
