About Battleops

Battleops opens with a former military expert coming round after being unconscious for some time, only to find that zombies have overrun the world. The story raises three questions: what to do next, why the zombies took over, and how your character ended up in this apocalypse. Answering them is spread across several chapters, and each chapter holds its own set of levels, so the plot unfolds a piece at a time.

Levels are built around objectives. Completing them is how new weapons turn up, and along the way you meet different kinds of enemies and some tough bosses that guard the end of the road. Difficulty can be adjusted, so the shooting can be made gentler or harsher to suit you. It is an offline shooter with a landscape layout, playable on both computers and phones, and it keeps the zombie combat going from the first chapter to the last.

How to play Battleops

Objective

Work through the chapters of the story, completing each level's objectives to earn new weapons, beat the bosses and learn why the zombies took over.

Getting started

  1. Turn your phone to landscape before the first chapter, since Battleops is built for a wide screen.
  2. Choose a difficulty that suits you; the game lets you adjust it, so start where the shooting feels manageable.
  3. Begin the first chapter and follow the story as your character wakes up in a world overrun by zombies.
  4. Complete the objectives in each level, because finishing them is how new weapons become available.
  5. Prepare for the bosses; they are the hardest fights, so bring the strongest weapon you have found so far.

Tips

  • Objectives come first. New weapons are tied to completing them, so finishing every goal in a level pays off in the chapters that follow.
  • Lower the difficulty if a boss keeps beating you; the setting is adjustable, so you can raise it again once that chapter is behind you.
  • Watch for new enemy types as the chapters go on. The game mixes different enemies, and a weapon that handles one kind well may be less suited to another.

What is the story of Battleops?

You play a former military expert who wakes up after being out for a while to find zombies have taken over the world. The chapters follow your attempts to work out what to do next, why it happened and how you got there.

Can you change the difficulty in Battleops?

Yes. The difficulty is adjustable, so you can make the levels easier while you learn them or harder once the weapons and enemies are familiar. It applies across a game built from several chapters, each with its own set of levels.

How do you get new weapons in Battleops?

By completing objectives. Each level sets goals, and finishing them is how fresh weapons are discovered. That steady growth of your arsenal matters most against the challenging bosses waiting in the chapters.
