About Battalion Commander
Battalion Commander sends you into enemy territory with nobody beside you. Soldiers, tanks, watch towers and helicopters fill the ground ahead, and the mission only ends when you reach and destroy the secret enemy base at the far end. Along the way you find cages holding allied troops; freeing them adds soldiers to your squad, and the bigger the squad, the better your odds against the heavier enemies.
The allies are not identical. Riflemen shoot bullets straight forward, Marksmen fire right at the target, and Automatic Riflemen use burst fire. Upgrades push them further, from Marksmen firing two bullets to unlocks such as the Flamethrower, Advanced Sniper Gun and Homing Missiles. Perks can be equipped or removed between fights, with effects like a 50% fire rate boost for every ally or slowing enemies and their bullets. A missions list tracks your goals, and coins can be earned by watching ads. The screen stands upright for phones.

How to play Battalion Commander
Objective
Fight through enemy territory, release trapped allies from their cages to grow your squad, and destroy the secret enemy base at the end of the mission.
Controls
Desktop
- Click: equip, unequip or switch items and perks in the menus
- Click the missions button: list all missions
Mobile
- Swipe: move your soldier and squad
- Tap: continue after a stage or restart after a defeat
Getting started
- Hold the phone upright, because the battlefield runs in portrait, and swipe to move when the SWIPE TO MOVE prompt appears.
- Advance into enemy ground alone and look for cages, since freeing trapped troops is how the squad grows.
- Release a Rifleman, Marksman or Automatic Rifleman when you can, then keep them alive as you push toward tanks and towers.
- When a stage ends, use TAP TO CONTINUE to carry on, or TAP TO RESTART if the squad was wiped out.
- Between fights, open the perks screen and click perks to equip or unequip them before the next run.
Tips
- Each ally type fires differently, so mix Riflemen for straight lines, Marksmen for aimed shots and Automatic Riflemen for burst fire.
- The perk that slows enemies and enemy bullets buys time to dodge, which helps most against helicopters and watch towers.
- A 50% fire rate boost applies to all allies, so it grows in value as you rescue more troops from cages.
- Upgrading Marksmen to shoot two bullets doubles their output, a strong pick once you rely on them.
- Short on coins? The shop offers coins for watching ads, which can fund an upgrade before a hard mission.

How do you get more soldiers in your squad?
You start the mission alone and find allied troops trapped in cages across enemy territory. Freeing them adds them to your squad, and upgrades unlock types like the Rifleman, Marksman and Automatic Rifleman.

Perks add effects you choose before fighting. One gives all allies a 50% fire rate boost, another makes enemies and enemy bullets move slower. Click a perk to equip it or click again to unequip it.
