About Mr. Drifter: Car Chase Simulator

Mr. Drifter: Car Chase Simulator has a single rule: keep moving. You drive a getaway car through a chaotic low-poly city seen from an angled top-down view, with police units, civilian traffic and roadblocks closing in. The chase has no finish line and grows more intense the longer it lasts, so the real measure of a run is how long you avoid capture before the pursuit gets the better of you.

Power-ups shape every escape. Slow-Mo slows the action so you can find a path through tight spots, Freeze stops the threats sitting in front of you, and an EMP Blast knocks out the vehicles chasing you. The streets mix two kinds of hazard: roadblocks you can plough straight through and obstacles you need to dodge to survive. As you keep playing, more getaway cars unlock, which gives later runs a different feel from the first.

How to play Mr. Drifter: Car Chase Simulator

Objective

Stay ahead of the police as long as possible by weaving through traffic, avoiding obstacles and using the Slow-Mo, Freeze and EMP power-ups when the chase gets tight.

Controls

Desktop

  • WASD or arrow keys: move the car

Mobile

  • On-screen touch controls: steer the car

Getting started

  1. Get the car rolling the moment a chase begins, using the WASD or arrow keys on a computer or the on-screen touch controls elsewhere.
  2. Weave between civilian cars and police units, since stopping is the one thing this chase does not allow.
  3. Drive through power-ups as they appear; Slow-Mo, Freeze and the EMP Blast each give you a different way out of a tight spot.
  4. Smash through roadblocks when they block the way, and dodge the other obstacles to keep the run alive.
  5. When a run ends, check which getaway cars have unlocked and pick one for the next chase.

Tips

  • An EMP Blast disables the vehicles chasing you, so it is the pickup to aim for when several police cars are right on your tail.
  • Freeze works on threats in your path, which makes it the better grab when traffic or police are blocking the road ahead rather than following behind.
  • Slow-Mo slows the whole scene down, giving you extra time to pick a line through a crowded junction that would be too hectic at full speed.
  • Each unlocked getaway car changes your options, so try a new one on the calmer opening stretch of a chase before trusting it when the pursuit is heavy.

Mr. Drifter: Car Chase Simulator FAQ

What does each power-up do in Mr. Drifter: Car Chase Simulator?

Slow-Mo slows the action to help you get through tight situations. Freeze stops the threats sitting in your path. EMP Blast sends out an electromagnetic pulse that disables the vehicles pursuing you. All three are picked up during the chase itself.

Can you steer Mr. Drifter on a phone or tablet?

Yes, touch devices get on-screen touch controls for steering. On a computer, WASD or the arrow keys move the car. Either way the goal stays the same: keep driving, dodge obstacles and collect power-ups to stay in the chase.

Does the chase in Mr. Drifter ever end?

Not by itself. The police keep coming in an endless pursuit that escalates over time, and the challenge is to see how long you can stay free. Unlockable getaway cars give you fresh options for pushing a run further.
